why is zeetv doing bad these days?

this week was really bad for zeetv! almost all top 6 show in the trp chart were shows of starplus aka ekta kapoor show!!

ekta kapoor's kasam se is not doing good these days too
even top show saath phere is being killed by new show Kasturi
maayka even reached the bottom with the no 19 position!
some of the repeat shows of straplus ahs better ratings
why?

I won't call it doing bad. I would call it not being competitive. The reason may be the stories are looking alike and they need to change the. Put more excitement and don't let evil win all the time and let the heroine fight for her right.

I think its because the shows in star plus have more glamour in it than shows in Zee. The clothes, the sets, the jewellry, the makeup, are all better than the ones in Zee. And people enjoy seeing all that glitter. Rajshri herself complained that the makeup thats applied on her creates rashes.

predictable storylines...........also depends on the demographics that watch shows on starplus vs. zeetv.......i think a much older(possible mature ..maybe?)audience watches starplus more because the shows are more family oriented......on zeetv, you know one of the characters will always come out on top because basically its their show.......so you don't really leave room for creativity, or suspense for that matter
