From an article on the leap....

" According to our source, "A nation wide audition was held to get the new faces to play the teenagers in the show. Rachana Parulkar, the 12th standard student of Mumbai's Mithibai College will play Saawri, while Amrapali essays the role of Shweta. The role of Brijesh and Tara's son, Aditya will be played by newcomer Ahem. Vaidehi, Aditi's daughter will be essayed by Pooja Sharma, while Samar's daughter Nikita will be played by Bhumika. Saawri's childhood friend Ram Prasad will be played by Kunal Thakur". "

Since the leap the only daughter shown was his real daughter Kamini and not the adopted daughter Nikita. So it's possible they named the wrong daughter in the article

Yes, you are quite right they did show Nikita. But I believe it was for Shweta engagement party only... I was thinking why mention her in the article if the focus was on Kamini. Since the leap the focus was on Kamini rather than Nikita.

okay, i just got dish back up after the horrible hurrican ike, that hit, my hometown, that like no Dish or indian channels since last septemeber. Dreadful, huh? I know.

So of course, my family and me picked up saat phere, and we're watching it, but we're totally confused about this "new generation".

I understood this Sweta is the adopted daughter, Savri is the real daughter? Who are the other two guys, and whose kids are they? One of the guys was the one that was helping Savri find the Ashram, the other guy was the the one that asked Saloni if he could have some parsad.
