Dear Friends,
We all are very much hurt, sad and some of you even might be angry because of the swift exit of our beloved Indian Cricket Team from the World Cup 2007. But the reason of the demise of the team is very simple - Poor performances by almost all of them on different days. They showed us what they are capable of, when on song, by scoring 413, the Highest World Cup total ever. But only 3 days later, they failed to chase a not so difficult target of 255. We Indians are big Cricket Fans and try to support our team by watching matches even till 3-4 in the morning but they don't even bother to play responsibly. They all keep failing when the situation demands them to perform.
We are not complaining about anything and neither are we supposed to take it on our hearts. It is just a game and winning and losing is just a part of it. But to reduce the disappointment in ourselves, I think all of us should do something collectively. After all, nothing's gonna happen just by sitting at our homes and criticising our Cricketing Super stars. We all should do something which makes us feel proud of ourselves and we can say someday that it was our effort that is showing its results today.
All of us have numerous reasons for the failures we keep witnessing, but according to me one of the biggest reasons have been the Huge amount of money they have been earning through endorsements. They all come to the team performing but soon get lost in the brightness of this modeling and Ad world and become absolutely useless as soon as they are in the limelight.
I have thought long and hard over this issue and have sorted ONLY one way out of all this. What would happen if we stop buying each and every single product advertised by our Cricketing Geniuses? The companies paying these cricketers will ultimately face huge losses and will eventually stop hiring them. That is when everything comes back to track.
So, I personally request each one of you to stop buying any product which is being advertised by the Indian Cricket Team. Let's see, if we have the power to revolutionise the Indian Cricket Team. Consider yourself successful only when you start seeing that the problem has started to resolve and there are no more ads consisting of the Tendulkars, Dravids and Yuvrajs.
