They met courtesy Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi of Star Plus. Today, neither of them appears in the serial but both figure quite prominently in each other's life! Of course they both trot out the usual spiel of "We are just good friends". Ashlesha admits that "Sandeep has been extremely close to me right from the day I came to Mumbai. But please don't read anything more than that. We are focused on our careers." But who says love and work cannot mix, Ashlesha?
