Remarks abt Saat Phere

The story so far depicts Saloni's character as a Goddess of Sacrifice, which is impossible for a normal human being.

It wld have been meaningful to show her as a normal person going through the ups and downs of life sometimes winning and sometimes losing. She wld have been able to portray the various shades competently since she acts well too.

Problem is most women watching the show tend to imbibe these virtues as ideal and if they are really suffering they continue to endure the pain without thinking Saloni is hypothetical.

Further Nahar plays second lead hence he shd have a strong scripted role rather than just redundant screen space. 😭

Same regarding other characters like Ambika (cries or curses), Narpat (always helpless), Shubra (frowns or repels 🤢 ), Samar (ready to fight 😡 or follow 🤡the edict of wife. Gayatri& Dhananjay (are they still there? 😆).

All of them have little or no dialogues. They are like side artists!😔

I forgot Brijesh (only reprimands 😒 >), Tara (just stands 😕 ), Aditi(who simply screams 😡 ), Dheer (just flirts 😉 ) and Bhabho (does she even speak? 🤔 )

Kaveri used to have interesting dialogues 👍🏼 but now she has same boring lines.

Manno Bhabhi used to add humour but now thats missing too, her one liners were hilarious 😆.Something which I used to look fwd to.

The serial started off with a new concept and shd have maintained that, instead they deviated from her dark complexion and musical dispositions to marriage, conspiracies, money and now fertility.

Wonder where the creativity went? Shd the producers not review their storyline? Why spoil something which can be made interesting?

Lavanaya I know sometimes people and story line is annoying. but I disagree with the point that people will follow saloni's path and do stupid things. People are people good and bad. There is nothing wrong also in showing social perils along with a dark girls facing problems in society. They are still degrading saloni saying amavas ki raat, kali mata. Infact nahar's family gave her confidence she was missing in narpat's parivar.Aditi still inside does not like saloni bcos she still has her color issue in her mind.They have to provide masala for serial to make it entertaining. they have to worry about trps too.

They have shown saloni loosing neel being degraded so much by her own brother,sister, mother and by thakurain, aditi, dheer, kaveri. She is is still being insulted by samar, aditi, shubhra .Not because she is goddess but she is older sister and love them like her children and ignore their remarks. Some people by nature cannot hurt others. They are always more concern about others feeling then their own. don't we overlook some things done by our loved ones and forgive them?

Besides saat phere is saloni's story. They have nahar's role for so long in the story bcos people demand for him to be with saloni. nahar is every woman's fantasy (not only because he is good looking but the way he tend to saloni). every married or unmarried woman will wish that she could have husband like nahar who support you in every aspect and love you so much. Beside they make a good couple. Intialy they had planned to do away with nahar's role way in the beggining. The only person who hardly has meaningful role is Neel. Nahar has the 2nd best role after saloni. he is the lead male of the show and that is the reason he left sindoor.
I was impress the way they unfolded the kakisa's murdering chandni plot.
I have lot of faith that there is still lot more in this story and I wish they deal with more problems of our society. Some one has too.
people like ambika, kaveri, narpat, dheer, aditi, nahar,saloni, shubhra all exists. i have dealt with every kind believe me. So it is not hypothetical. Just keep your eyes opens and look around you will find them. i have kaveri's, aditis, and dheer kind in my own family.

I was wondering the same, the soap started very good but now......

I'm still waiting for saloni to start her singing career... the writers have to start concentreting on this subject...

they are pointing out some good issues, so why not a married woman with her family and a career...

about nahar, yep he is following his wife... he has to start being his own person again... ( maybe nahar and samer SWITCH PERSONALITY 😆 😆 ...)

I think there is more to come in this story. This story deals with aspects of the society of today and I have faith in the writers that they'll keep the story as interesting as it has been till now. And I feel that Saloni's singing career will soon follow......

And I guess Nahar following Saloni is just for a while until something will happen and he'll become his old self again......

Well Raksha unfortunately people do follow them. Even in New Delhi, most people are heavily influenced by K-serials too. Their reactions are similar too.TV channels show interviews of such people. Regd skin color oh thats so blatant! Matrimonial advt's, 'Fair & Lovely' selling five times its target figure in last five yrs! & making huge profits that now they have 'Fair and Handsome' for men! 😳 😆

Sadly this is an excuse TV serial producers make for getting away with mediocrity. 🤢

I actually agree with both Lavanya as well as ramas.
I think Saloni ka safar goes a bit too far. The producers draw out every inch of pain and suffering and Saloni gets walked all over with no retaliation - except when trying to prove that truth shall prevail. She comes across as a weak doormat.

As ramas said, Saloni loves her family and will never stand upto them - isn't this how all "good Indian daughters" are brought up. Yet, she still has to be tormented with disdain, biting comments and ill treatment. This shows Saloni to be a strong person with ethics and a challenging personality.

The 2 sides of Saloni... and the many other facets of Saat Phere are intriguing and creative. And I love every bit of it. I get sooo annoyed at times, but hey! - whats a serial without it?
