On the completion of their milestone episodes the cast and crew are in an upbeat mood.

Storyboard

Daughter-in-law Kaveri had driven Narpat and Ambika Singh out of their house. But their son Samar sees through her scheming mind and brings back his parents. Ambika enters home with devi ma's moorti. There's an altercation between Samar and Kaveri.

Mazhar Sayyadd (Samar): "When I was a puppet in Kaveri's hands, people would abuse me, 'Kaisa pati hai, kuch to kar, apni biwi ko mar, peeth, nikalde, apne maa baap ke liye kuch to kar! But now that I am getting aggressive, logon ki khuwahish puri ho rahee hai."

Mohan Bhandari (Narpat Singh): I didn't want to play a father's role. But I am glad I accepted it. Playing Saloni's helpless father has won me two kinds of reactions. Considering that I have always played strong characters, some are surprised and say, 'Itna majboor character bhi kar lete ho!' And there are others who do not like me playing a weak man.

Pratichee Mishra (Ambika Singh): The show began with our family. Main pehle din ke pehle shot se is show ka hissa hoon. It's a dream role for me.

Rajashree Thakur (Saloni): I am glad to be a part of the show that has slowly reached the number one position. It's a team effort. Saloni has become a member of the family. People have accepted me with my dark skin. That's a great achievement. I believe in myself.

Aanchal Dwivedi (Kaveri): "My eyes have a mystery. Men find Kaveri interesting. They are used to their daughters, wives and mothers being good to them. That a woman can be so wicked seems intriguing to them."

Eavesdropping...

Rajashree Thakur talks little between shots and spends her time resting or reading the newspaper. Mazhar Sayyadd diligently rehearses his dialogues and even gets commended by the team for his take. He also says that adding a double'd' to his surname has helped. Pratichee Mishra, a trained singer, keeps humming the song 'Deedar ko tarse ankhiyan'. On-screen enemies Aanchal and Mazhar indulge in mock-boxing and
challenge each other by saying, "Aaa tu!"
  • The team digs into thalis served during lunchtime and share an easy
    camaraderie.
