Narpat house-living room
Manno Bhabhi says that this is all Kaveri's scheming up. Ambika says that why did Gayatri do this and why shd we worry for a driver? Gayatri is missing may be she planned to run away with the driver. Narpat angrily tells her to think what is she saying abt his sister and has she lost her senses.
Kaveri enters with Samar and tells Narpat that your sister has performed a deed which you never expected. Samar says she has left us shameless and we cannot show our faces. And worse my didi is involved in this. Saloni comes in with Gayatri and all see her 'maang' filled with sindoor. Kaveri comments that your doting widow sister has done this with support from Saloni. Ambika asks Saloni why did you commit this sin and ques Gaaytri why did she sell off all 'maan-maryada'.
Saloni says that there was no other option and a widow marrying is not a sin. My brother and bhabi see no sin in blaming an innocent. Buasa overheard Kaveri threatening to harm Dhananjay & got scared so she asked for my help. I tried to convince Dhananjay to leave town & go but he did not want to leave Buasa in this sitn. Anyone else wld have left but he cares for buasa more than his own life. He loves her truly. I am happy that buasa got such a partner who lives life not just for himself.
Gayatri room
Gayatri cries and goes to her room. She looks in the mirror and sees her 'maang' and smiles. She then opens her cupboard and takes out a dress.

Gayatri touches feet of Narpat, Manno bhabhi and Ambika. Samar says that a widow cannot wear such clothes? Gayatri replies she is a 'suhagan' now. Saloni tells all that till her husband returns she will stay here. Samar says that she cannot stay here and he will send her to village tomorrow. We are so ashamed in front of this world. Narpat replies to him that this is his house and Gayatri is his sister and she will stay and who is he to decide so? And tomorrow he is taking her to 'Kul-devi ke mandir sindoor chadane ke liye' and for blessings. Whoever wishes can join him. Saloni & Manno bhabhi say they will accompany to pray for buasa'a new life.
Nahar living room
All are sitting when Saloni enters. Kookie Kaki comments that finally she got time to come home. Dheer says that she doing great work of widow remarriage & that she has become a social worker. Saloni says she is sorry to come late but the sitn was pressing hence decision was taken in real time. Kookie Kaki taunts her that cld she get buasa married? Saloni tells her Yes they did, Dhananjay filled her 'maang'. Brijesh, Tara, Aditi, Bhabho & Nahar seem pleased. Dheer says that sin cannot be termed as good deed. Kaki says that even if whole Ganga is taken to wash this sin it cannot be removed. Nahar upset leaves followed by Brijesh, Tara, Aditi, Bhabho. Dheer tells Kaki that this was an anticlimax to our instigating efforts. Kookie Kaki tells him that be patient and what did Kaveri tell you that tomorrow they will go to Kuldevi temple. They will do what I say.

Saloni tells Nahar that she feared some mishap cld happen and Dhananjay's life was in danger. Nahar tells her today she proved that his wishes and his talk are of no value for her. Saloni replies that I never wanted to hurt you and it was imp to save Dhananjay's life. Hope you will understand my constraint. It was duty to do so for buasa's happiness. As your wife I am asking you for something please help Dhananjay who has been falsely implicated as thief.
Tara & Bhabho come there to congratulate her and tell her that we had our compulsion but our heart is with you. As most of the times the males' constraints become wives constraint. But I am glad that you cld overcome that. All leave.
Nahar ponders that I am proud of you Saloni but inspite of my wish and desire to congratulate you I am bound by reasons so please forgive me.

Saloni touches everyone's feet and then with folded hands tells them that my God knows that I am not doing this for insulting anyone but for a new life for buasa. I need your blessings for this good deed. Someone has to take a step and I hope that by my initiative the society will understand the pain of widows. Saloni leaves.
Kookie Kaki now frustrated screams that why is everyone sitting like mud statues? This girl who has not even grown up is doing things she has been forbidden from and no one is reacting.

Neel and Shubra are talking to Kaveri. Kaveri tells them that how long can I stop someone from killing? Samar can commit murder and I don't know how to stop him. Neel tells her that we will go to the temple to stop any untoward incident. Neel and Shuba leave. Kaveri thinks that she is not going there to stop the incident but to enjoy the spectacle. It is more fun to watch a live telecast than to read or hear from someone.
Kul-Devi Temple
Narpat,Gayatri, Manno Bhabhi and Saloni enter the temple when Ambika too arrives. Narpat tells Ambika that you cld not stay and how did this sudden change happen? Ambika tells him that she has given Gayatri lot of pain and yesterday when she saw her in 'dulhan' dress she realized that there is a heart yearning to beat inside the living being. Ambika asks Gayatri for forgiveness and Gayatri tells her that she is like her mother and mother's words are like 'amrit'.
Narpat tells the pandit that his sister has got married hence please offer the sindoor to Goddess. Manno Bhabhi adds that although this shd be done with her husband but due to circumstances she will do it alone. Just then Dhananjay comes. All are pleasantly surprised to see him. Dhananjay tells them that it's a miracle that he got released on bail but does not know who is the kind person. Manno Bhabhi tells them to proceed when Neel and Shubra come there. Shubra yells that how can they do this? Kaveri says that this is an insult. Narpat retorts that Gayatri is his sister and they need not tell him what to do. He tells the pandit to perform puja.
As Dhananjay and Gayatri along with Saloni are walking towards the Goddess Statue a sword flying lands at their feet. There is a group of villagers led by Samar protesting with lathis in hand. Narpat ques Samar the need for this misbehr and Samar replies that they will not tolerate insult of kul-devi. The sword is their fly sword and he will fight for its honor. A widow cannot cross and insult the sword which is the laxman-rekha. Neel tries to speak but one of the villager's with turban tells him shut up you low caste. Saloni then says that the biggest thing is humanity and to disallow a person to live life is the biggest sin. They are not God to snatch someone's right to live. Do all of them lack this basic humanness?
Saloni then takes buasa towards Goddess when the turban wearing villager shouts that "devima ek vidhwa ke hath se sindoor swekar nahi karengi' & throws a lathi at Saloni. The lathi hits Saloni on her forehead.
Tomorrow: Samar tells Narpat that he loves these people more than his own son? He will not live in this house anymore
