Ok now that xyzzee got the answer...here is a bizarre question:
How come the characters in Saat phere are named in such a cheesy manner.
Saloni = the dark one by definition whereas Shubra = the white one.
Sameer = the wind (unpredictable),
Ambika = 'mataa' and also represents one of the wives of Chitrveerya (official father of Dhritrastra and Pandu) who was very submissive about her fate but wanted no part of her own child Dhritrastra because she was ashamed of him being blind!!!
Narpat on the other hand could potentially have two meanings.
First one: Naha + Apat = Someone who is not stricken by misfortune
Second one: Nara + Pat = Companion of Man
So whats up with that???
Also all the floating characters in the serial seem to be named after rivers - GAyatri, Rewa, Kaveri, etc. Whereas the vicious character Mandy is named on the basis of a non-hindu denomination.
Neel typically is a name used for Shiva but in some parts used for Krishna to represent his body color - and the Neel in the serial is a singer whose fav instrument has shown to be a flute...plus he is attracted to Saloni for her "inner beauty"...
I am probably reading way more into it than i should but i thought it would be interesting to see your opinions!
