We've seen Shabana Azmi giving serious speeches on social issues but how often do we get to see the actress letting her hair down? Once in a year on Holi day!

That's right, Shabana and hubby Javed Akhtar ensure that their Holi party is the talk of the town every year, with friends, well-wishers and celebrities all dropping in to have a gala time at their Holi bash.

The couple, dressed in matching white kurtas and turbans, greeted one and all by applying gulal on their faces. Mita Vashishth was one of the first ones to arrive and was seen playing Holi with Raima Sen, the latter clearly enjoying her thandaai. Deepa Sahi, who was accompanied by husband Ketan Mehta, gave a warm hug to Om Puri and proceeded to douse him with rang. Ketan and Bijon Dasgupta too hugged like old pals only to smear each other with handfuls of colour.

Sudhir Mishra was spotted having a good time. Shweta Kawaatra, who seems to have shed oodles of weight, was also present minus hubby Manav Gohil. Dressed in all white, Sharad Kelkar and Kirti Gaekwad couldn't stop themselves from swaying to the dhol beats while Ananya Dutta's thumkas could give a run to any Bollywood actress! Others seen taking in the festivities were Sikander, Rajesh Khattar and Vandana Sajnani, Nimai Bali, Kunika Lall and Indra Kumar.
