why is everyone finding it so wrong if saloni falls for amrit?

Let's say nahar is actually dead and this is amrit. Why is it so wrong if Saloni starts a new life? It's not like she's cheating on Nahar or something. He's dead anyway.

It's really sad to see the hypocrite culture that is shown in these drama's. It's totally ok if a man remarries (or even has a spare wife in case his wife dies 😕). But a widow shouldn't even think of remarrying or she's cheating her dead husband. How sad. And even more sad to see that even real people on this forum have the same thoughts...

I am someone who don't want Saloni to fall for Amrit but my reasons has nothing to do with a widow re-marrying/a widow falling in love. In fact all the ingredients are there for her to fall in love - Amrit looks like Nahar, he loves her and her daughter and he has all the qualities she admires. The question is how can she not fall in love?

In fact Nahar was all for Saloni remarrying. So Saloni is free to fall in love, re-marry etc. She has Nahar's approval.

I want Saloni to stay true to Nahar purely because of the promises she has made to God and her decisions she has made not to re-marry.

In the temple Saloni explained her reasons why she wanted to stay true to Nahar when she confrounted Nahar about his plan to re-unite her with Varun.

I agree if a man can re-marry a woman can re-marry. Nahar is dead she is free to fall in love. But individuals have values and ideals that they lived by. For me it's the ideals the character has consistently been spouting, the things is if you're not true to your values then what are you?

That's my reasons for her being true to Nahar Can she up hold her values faced with the ultimate tempation - the perfect 2nd husband - Nahar's lookalike?

blaadje and judy I agree with you both. There is noting wrong in saloni getting attracted to amrit. Amrit is her savior in a way. A saint who is helping her family and accepted them as his own. he loves saloni regradless she gives him anything back in return.

For saloni he is a constant reminder of nahar, a saintly form of Nahar who never gets angry All saloni wants to do is have admiration for him. How can she not fall for him in weak moment.

part of me wants amrit and sal to gether.

But part of me wats sal to stay loyal to nahar and his memories.

But then no one can live upon memories itself and How long amrit and sal can stay like this in same room night after night.

But my fear is that what if Nahar returns after amr/sal gets together. that will be worst thing that can happen.

The siuation is so complicated. who will beleive and trust that amrti saloni had no relation.

I think Saloni & Amrit should be together . This is not that she is not loyal to Nahar . Nahar is dead . She has right to go ahead with her life . Amrit loves her & her family . This not fair . If Nahar comes that is not in our hands it is what story is all about . I think we should let them be together & let the Widows know that it is okay to start a new life !!!
