Evil Times on Saat Phere - Article

Since television is a business and we as viewers are consumers. The message that was conveyed to me through this article is that Zee TV and Sphere Origin no longer want my business.

Granted there was employer/employee issues between the producers and Rajshree Thakur – it could have been dealt with long ago because articles upon articles stress she always has this attitude. However, as a consumer of Zee's product – one point in business such issues must never affect your customer. Rajshree may have attitude but don't use it as the reasoning to affect me the consumer.

The fact that her leaving will be blamed on lost viewer ship is what is pathetic. The writers and producer of Saat Phere are so devoid of viewers understanding it is beyond comprehension. Everything points to they want to end this show but they can't because of contract – frankly they want to push the viewers so far to turn them away. After reading this article I will simply say I cannot wait for Nahar to die and Rajshree to leave the show because whatever displaced loyalty or liking I had for the show would have been reduced to ashes.

I join this forum one year ago and as NS suffered so has this forum to the extent that it's now a ghost town – I believe like myself people had the hope that the writers, producers and Zee would not have gone this route. But with the triumph return of Jiji, what optimism I had is now gone.

I read a number of times that this show is about colour discrimination, for one year I religiously watch this show and from my point of view this show was never about color issue, Is Jiji coming back because Saloni is dark? Writers please do research- It's very clear SP writers appear uneducated as their characters; it's a real pity that this is the image you show to the world? This is simply worst that your portrayal of doctors and lawyers – since those are characters. You writers are real and it appears that SP writers are inept.

Nevidita Bhattacharya can take a break and come back to a show as easily as that despite the fact that her character has caused such havoc - her coming signals to me that she gets away with everything. The question I ask is why would I want to watch SP, what is the end result of the suffering of Saloni? Since Jiji can come and go as she pleases.

Kalika came in and left but Saloni suffering on account of Kalika goes on she has never gotten her child. Narpat, Kaveri et al life has blossom but the pitiful Saloni has to be satisfied with a substitute child because God is not ready to return her child to her.

I must now prepare myself for Jiji's return and Saloni is now 'possibly' going to get a replacement husband. At the end of it all Saloni has suffered and Jiji has gotten away scoot free as Kaveri, Jiji, Kalika etc.

Frankly I doubted that SP writers, producers and Zee TV can be so out of touch but daily it appears that they really are.

Someone pointed out they watch SP for entertainment I fail to realize what entertainment is in store for me. But like any consumer I do have choices and you're right it's entirely up to me whether I watch or not. I will very shortly exercise my right as a consumer. Because daily more and more shows are popping up as well as more and more channels. Zee has moved to #3 and after seeing what is happening in SP one can understand why it's loosing viewers. I still cannot understand from a business point of view why they are allowing the SP writers to kill the show.
