Rajashree is not quitting?
30 Jan 2009, 0000 hrs IST, TNN
Rajashree Thakur was supposed to quit Saat Phere some time back.
She said she'd been working at a stretch for too long and now deserved a break. But after all those announcements of quitting the show, Rajashree's still very much in the serial.
Of coure, she did say that she'd wait till the makers give her character a logical end, but that's been a long time now. Viewers aren't complaining because they are used to the face and can't imagine anybody else in her place. But what's the real story here? Was her 'decision to quit' just a publicity stunt to garner eyeballs? Afterall TRPs of the show are no longer as high as they used to be. With new shows making it high on the TRP charts, the older ones surely do need to be in the news. We hear that the serial may even consider taking a leap to introduce new tracks. That's still under consideration. Well, for now, what is certain is that that Rajashree is not quitting! If her announcement wasn't a publicity stunt then we assume she was offered a better deal to stay back.
