Launch
A graduate from H R College of Commerce and Economics with a stint in law and about 15 years enterprise experience, Wadhwa turned producer after establishing a production house Karnik Communication in the year 1997. The first venture of the company was a trailblazer Neeyat, that was based on the lifestyles of celebrities from the film industry. The serial aired on Zee TV received rave reviews for its pioneering content. What started as a five crore company is at present a 40 crore company.
Five years later, in 2002, " I formed Sphere Origins and the first project that came out was a tele-film called Phir Se that won the prestigious RAPA award in 2005." Tasting success at first hand, Wadhwa has been guiding his company with his ideation, development of story lines, channel liason, marketing, overseeing technical as well as commercial aspects, production and creative feedback and providing overall support to his team". Serials (2003-'08)
Another impressing serial Ek Mulaqat followed. The show set against a colourful, feudalistic Rajasthan backdrop with strong characters had surrogate motherhood as its theme. "The show did exceedingly well which boosted our spirits to more such meaningful serials." The show was aired on STAR Plus. Des Mein Nikkla Hoga Chand- an emotional saga weekly hour-long saga that deals with the lives of a NRI family living in London won the best weekly show of 2005. Before that in 2004 the company-made serial Hey…Yehii To Hai Woh was aired on the first day of the launch of STAR One channel. Then came Aatish, which won the 2008 Screen award for best actress. The series that dealt with the mystique of planetary positions and its effect making two opposite characters of twin sisters was among the top-rated shows on STAR Plus. What followed next, was Arth, a show that dealt with a poignant relationship between two young children and their stepmother. "The twists and turns in the storyline made for high-voltage drama were startingly close to real life and eventually the show was hailed for its glossy look and slick direction." Taking a break from social subjects, Sphere Origins ventured into an altogether new field ' a fantasy and costume drama' and made Thief Of Baghdad. Shot on a lavish scale and a large canvas, the series had loads of special effects and graphics. Well-acclaimed all around, this serial aired on Zee TV, the serials overseas telecast and appreciation in those quarters also was a feather in Wadhwa's cap. "The series remains one of the best mounted and successful serials of Sphere Origins," says an elated Wadhwa. Wanting to do his bit for the national broadcaster, the already expanded company, Sphere Origin, came out with its maiden venture Kasauti. This was again a series based on a social subject and was a saga of a close-knit family that after moving from a small town to a mega city in search for better prospects, comes face to face with harsh realities of big city life. It ends with the family moving back to their roots to find peace and solace. Later in 2005, Sphere Origin launched Saat Phere on October 17 on Zee TV. The serial that is the story of a girl's struggle against the stigmas forced upon her by society and her subsequent quest for her identity promises to be the longest-running serial having completed 600 episodes and is still going strong. It is not that Wadhwa tapped mostly social subjects, he ventured into spy-related serial which was titled D.O.N.'Detective Omkar Nath'. The serial that went on air in February 2006 drew a large amount of eyeballs both on STAR ONE and STAR Plus. Later in October, the same year, Sphere Origin came up with two serials Saathi Re… and Betiyaan Apni Apni Yaa…Paraya Dhan that premiered on STAR One back-to-back on the same day. In 2007, Sphere Origin came up with Salaam Zindgi- a serial that showcased the emotional and engaging journey of a young and vivacious girl who become a resilent police inspector with tremendous grit and determination. "With this, we saluted the spirit of today's woman." Then came a show Raajkumar Aaryan- one that dealt with sorcery, magical creatures and other demons. The show was premiered on NDTV Imagine in February, 2008. Currently on air are four serials that has made Wadhwa and Sphere Origin in particular proud. They are Balika Vadhu, Grahasti, Mohe Rang De and Saat Phere. Of these Balika Vadhu has caught the eye of the people. "Balika Vadhu is basically a show that has a social message concerning early child marriage. My writer Purnendra Shekhar had this story with him for a couple of years but we were a little sceptical because we knew to carry this kind of subject, we should have the right channel. With Colors, we got the right opening. Balika Vadhu not only propelled fortunes of the channel, but gave us a firm recognition. From the mails and telephone calls we have been getting, we find people watching Balika Vadhu for its content, look etc," adds Wadhwa. Production equipment

Mohe is actually Deepti bhatnagar's show. But after sometime, colors wanted to change production house and asked Shpere origins the same. They obliged.I don't know why but still they show the names of both the production houses at the end of the show.
