HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY
The Singh parivar decides to have celebrate Independence Day at their home. The parivar decides to call only relatives and few close friends ( I know we haven't seen them still they are invited on this special occasion.
In the Singh's sprawling garden the arrangements have been made. The predominant marigolds and white and green curtains and the flags looked beautiful.
The time is for flag hoisting and all eagerly await. Being the elder and head of the family, Kakasa goes ahead to do it but is stopped by Bhabho who feels she fits the bill becoz she has sacrificed for the house and clan so in a way served the country too. Kakasa agrees. Bhabho happily holds the rope but then Brijesh interrupts saying he is the being the overall managing head of the house the power is vested in him. So he will do the honors. Bhabho relents and steps aside. Before Brijesh can even touch the pole there comes Tara who says she is his wife and wants to unfurl the flag as she is excited. Brijesh quietly moves away. Kalika seeing the flag and the people around, ponders that if she does the hoisting then she will be greatly honored not only in the house but also whole city. Sensing opportunity she tells Tara that she saved her husband hence in lieu wants to hoist the flag. Tara unwillingly gives way. Kali is elated but unfortunately for her Shitij understands her thoughts and scurries there to tell her he is the son of the house and she is there becoz of him. This is his right first. Kali keeps quiet and walks away as Shitij feels he will take lead and do it to gain stature. But he finds Nahar holding his hand and telling him that he will do it since he is the only great sword fighter in their rajput family who could also have won a gold at the Olympics and done the country proud. Shitij seething leaves. Nahar now takes the rope in his hand and is about to pull when Saloni holds his hand and at that point Nahar knew his moment is over. Saloni tells him she has been sacrificing for the family selflessly for long right from her likes, her joys, her identity, and even her baby. So she truly deserves it for all the tears she shed and the pain & agony she underwent. Saloni closes her eyes and looks up praying to Mataji Maharaj for the wonderful moment and is about to pull when she is astonished to find that the flag had been unfurled and flowers dispersed all around.
Advitiya is clapping gleefully all by himself and Ishaan is flying kite with dexterity. Dheer is watching over amazed.
Now who did it? And who deserved to do it most?
