Are Indian DOCTORs and Nurses that corrupt?

The current track of SP is really bad, a big blot on the medical profession. Are the doctors and nurses in India so corrupt that they can be bought out for any reason? How many times we see doctors helping a villain? Almost all serials show some corrpution of the medical profession. All serials show doctors and nurses being manipulated for money and not one doc has had the courage to expose the villain in front of the victims. Are we that naive that such things can happen and we continue to tolerate such nonsense? I am going to stop watching the serials and listen to music so that my mind can re-energize from these corrupt serials who are doing a great harm to our society and cultural values. It is obvious that the script writers have peantus for brains. Thanks to all of you wonderful members and people who provide the updates.

Calm down dear . I know exactly how u feel ....trust me i have been there .

No , doctors in India r not this corrupt . They r perfectly human and render very good service to society inspite of not having half the facilities of the U.S . There r doctors who go for rounds in remote villages and treat poor villagers in medical camps organised in tents with very little staff . They can very well earn lakhs in a city yet they do so out of compassion . They never show this in serials do they ?

Guess wat the NRI's must be feeling looking at this distorted picture of India in serials . If corruption is a disease it exists in a minimal degree in all stratas.....police , medical profession , education , even religion . Dont the churches in Europe amass money in the name of religion since history ? R there not serial killer doctors and nurses in the states like Dr Swango etc who kill for apparently no reason ? Is there no corruption in education system abroad ......or on a higher burreaucratic level ? Life in prisons and prisoon management is also corrupt abroad sumtimes......movies r made on the issue .

The Hindi serials have long since gone overboard in their senseless attempt to stick to formula serials .....to show the bachcha badalna scene they show the doctor being bought for a handful of money . Im surprised Doctors havent taken up this issue and given the serialwallahs a warning for this idiotic portrayal of doctors . Obviously the doctors dont have time to watch these serials so they dont know watz going on . Its horrible .

Trust me as an outsider and I am an outsider, watching this serial has never given me any bad feelings towards health, legal or political systems in India.

Personally I believe there are bad people in whatever profession in whichever country that can be purchase.

I also notice one thing that alot of people then to forget. Evil people are not only beggars and thief. Educated, professional people are also bad, a thing people forget.

if i meet ekta kapoor, i will defnetly ask her ,why she is doing all this crap in the serials. doctors and nurses taking money and doing all corruption . there r corrupt doctors ,like govt doctors take money from poor patients ,and all of u know about kidney racket rt .... but doctors taking money and changing the babies , this has been going on in all the serials rt ? in ksbkbt , almost all serials, my god this is too much .these are all bakwas serials. the only good serial is baa bhahu aur baby .rest all r realy horrible . any other serial is good please let me know. i like only baa bahu aur baby .

yeah I am pursuing a degree in nursing. I hope people don't believe the serials and start thinking everyone is bad that works in the health care field unless they have known them. I hope they get to know people before judging them

i think the serials are giving doctors and nurses in india a very bad name. it makes one scared to be sick in india as you can be killed if someone who does not like you could just pay the doctors and nurses to kill you and no one will ask any questions.
