*Cuts the ribbon and inaugurates my new SBS venture*

Welcome everyone!!
Thursday was probably one of the saddest days for many of us SBS fans but today is a day for a new start, beginning our wonderful SBS journey again :) And as we continue along this journey from the start again, I still hope and pray that some miracle happens (aka Toasty waves her magic wand) and we get a second season of SBS <3 Keep praying and keep signing the petition! :)

Chalo, let's get to fun part :) Yeh rahiye aaj ka episode...the first episode of Saas Bina Sasural :) Have a look and I will be posting my gupshup comments on the episode later tonight once I have a bit of time to do so 😊 Enjoy!! <3

(Will be posting episodes up on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, btw so that you know which days to come and follow along 😊)

I've actually downloaded the first 4 months of episodes onto my laptop in HQ and am working towards downloading all of them so I'm trying to figure out what the best way would be to show the videos so for now I'm going to try sharing through videochaska for now until I can figure out the best way to put up the entire episode in one embedding.

(Okay so apparently I can't figure out how to embed the video into this post from videochaska.com :/ While I try and figure out how to do this or if someone knows how and can PM me that would be great since a lot of the beginning episodes don't seem to be on YT...till then...click on the link and you can watch the epi, lol)

(Sorry for it being so late)

Part of me felt a rejeuvenated seeing young Toasty again...for about 1 1/2 years we've been watching such a mature Toasty that I know I for sure had forgotten how young and child-like Toasty used to be :D She grew up so quickly to uphold the responsibilities of the C parivaar. In that way, Toasty is such a relatable character when it comes to being a normal girl who then gets married and enters the next new stage of life and has to accomodate herself to the new environment and lifestyle.

ROFL at Sudha and her dream :D I wish they would have shown Sudha like this again in the past few months. I loved her panic attacks and dreams :P they make me think of my mom and how panicky she can get :P

The first Nitika irritates me, personally :/ They changed Rajan and his mom too :D And the rest of the "Angels" other than Nitika and Smita disappear shortly after Tej and Toasty get married :D lol.

And then my hero enters :P God...his clothes look even more chamkeeli types now that I've gotten so used to Tej's great dressing sense in the past year :D Sabse bright pink shirt aur white pants...awesome mera Tej jaanu...no wonder itne dant khaana padtha hai Toasty se, LOL! But there's no way you can't love his innocence <3 LOVE the scene with Toasty scolding him and then sewing his button on with Shivangi trying to put in her thoughts and Toasty answering back and defending Tej <3 "Voh jaisa bhi hai, mujhe bohut acha lagta hai"

And then I start crying because I miss TejYa so much :( "Mujhe aisa mat dekho..varna main iss choti si, nadaan si baby pe pyaar aajayegi" and Tej's cute "I love you" after Toasty defends him :'( <3 I love them so much. You get such a sense of TejYa's cute pyaar and some of their understanding of each other right from the start. She scolds him but it almost seems like she loves Tej for the very same reason because obviously..he's too innocent and cute and like she said is a "chote se nadaan si baby" <3

LOL at Toasty and Shivangi's conversation with Shivangi telling Toasty about Sudha's dream about Tej already being married. :D And aww at Tej's nervousness over telling his family...the "I don't want to lose you..I love you too much" <3

Tej's darr for being put in the spot again for shaadi...he knows its coming already when Toasty says that Lalit wants to talk to him but imagine being ambushed by Sudha's "tum shaadi shuda ho?" LOL!! <3 And you have to hand it to Tej for trying to butter up Toasty's parents with Sudha's meds and then fixing the remote (which I found kind of random...remote fix karne ke liye bina bataayi ghar se le gaye? LOL!!)

And then the ambush continues with Lalit basically telling Tej "Either talk to your family about Toasty tomorrow or no Toasty"

God I miss these episodes <3 Till tomorrow when I post the next one!! :) <3

First of all, thank you so much Tejy <3 This is a wonderful idea and along with you, I'm going to watch all the SBS episodes <3

Here is my gupshup :P

One of the many reasons we love SBS is the comic sense in the show and this is very much present in the first scene of the first episode of the show :)

Sudha dreaming about such a scene is not surprising :)

In the morning breakfast scene, there is this entry of Toasty's two friends who randomly disappear after few episodes :P But no matter what, I really liked Shivangi and Sunaina <3 And yes, I liked the funny conversation between Toasty's parents. It's so typical of them ;)

I really wanted to bring out this point about Toasty being protective about Tej <3 It is something that I have realized now after watching this episode. Toasty has always been protective about Tej <3 Even during the separation track, she didn't let anyone even utter a word against him <3 This makes me think how Tej is like Toasty's baby <3

And yeah, I do prefer Shruti playing Nitika <3

Tej's entry was as simple as Toasty's and that's what I really liked. Unlike all other shows, we didn't have this camera zooming in and out. It was rather simple :)

Yet again another reason we love SBS-it's simplicity <3

The phone conversation between Tej and Toasty was cute <3

That scene between Tej and Toasty was just so adorable <3 It was cute how she scolded him but when Shivangi scolded him too, Toasty shooed her away. Like I said, Tej is Toasty's baby <3

And their evergreen button romance <3 I fell in love with them because of their button romance <3 Who carries a thread and a needle with them? Toasty would for her Tej! :D

I loved how Toasty told Tej not to look at her like that because then her anger vanishes and love happens <3

Their 'ILoveYou' to each other was like icing on the top <3 No one can tell those 3 magical words to each other in a cuter way than these two <3

And yeah, though Toasty thought Tej looked like a Madrasi film hero, I thought he looked cute <3 :P

Tej telling that he loves Toasty too much and he is afraid of losing her is just so sweet <3

Tej's reluctance in informing his family about his and Toasty's relationship was nicely shown. But why is he reluctant? I guess we will have to wait till the next episode to know about that ;)

Overall, I just loved this episode <3 Perfect first episode for this show <3 It had all the elements that would attract a viewer to it if the viewer is interested in watching a realistic and sensible show :)

Waiting for the next episode to be up :)

Wow.. i dont think i have ever seen this... dont remember when i started to watch..

Definitely like Shruti as Nitika.. and dont even see Smita. what happened to these friends of hers... never heard of them later on :)

and wow.. Tej and Toasty look soo young and adorable :)

And I totally agree with the needle and thread!! I knew I was forgetting to talk about something in my gupshup 😆 I love that the symbol of TejYa's love is a needle and thread ..despite being a normal, relatable couple, it is one thing that sets them apart ...the fact that Tej never has a top button on his shirt and Toasty always carries a needle and thread for him in her purse <3 Toasty is always there, ready to take care of him at every step <3

nice gupshup...saw d first episode yday...toasty is so protective for tej...she scolded him...but din let shivangi taunt on him...also their convo in restaurant...amazing...the way he said..."I don't want to loose you.."❤️ beautiful

I forgot to mention this in my previous post about the then Toasty. We saw a Toasty who was very child-like and happy-go-lucky <3 But after she entered the Chaturvedi family, we got to see a mature Toasty. One who knows what's right and what's wrong. The transition they have shown in Toasty's character is great! Like you said Tejy, I think this is where SBS becomes a very relatable show because you can relate to Toasty's character growth :D

Tej's dressing sense has become so good over the time especially after marrying Toasty <3 I remember Toasty getting good clothes for him and I even remember Smiley mentioning that Tej wears the shirt which only Toasty picks for him <3

Absolutely loved your entire analysis of TejYa scene <3

Loved the gupshup and thanks for posting the link! My goodness I laughed quite a bit during this episode. It's one of the things I liked about Tej and Toasty was that they were actually quite humorous, they joke around and both of them are lively (Tej more so after marriage :P). I like shivangi's character, the one paranoid friends who's convinced that the world is going to end any second (kinda like dadaji :P). Sunaina is a more cool and easy going person, but I think her and smita's personalities are quite similar (possible reason why one stayed). I think this is one of the three girls they chose to play Dimple! Man they changed supporting cast quite a bit. Looking forward to your next gupshup!

I think it's this 'needle and thread' thing that makes TejYa so special and unique <3 It's something that realistic yet sweet <3
