Honestly, after last week's episodes that were all fairly good, I was a little disappointed with today's episode. I don't know if it was just me but I was expecting a huge reaction from Dadaji when he found out because whenever something wrong happens, he always is so vocal about his grief and can't bottle anything within him but he was so in control of himself after finding out :/ It wasn't the reaction I was expecting. Even so, today's episode really depressed me.

~Smiley gets Pashu bongos and requests and convinces him to play them while Malti will sing...she makes a program and has everyone sit in the hall while Malti sings "Maiyya Yashoda, Yeh Tera Kanhaiyya" and Pashu plays the bongos and Toasty brings out pakodas and chai. Smiley starts dancing and pulling people in and soon almost everyone is dancing...Tej comes to pull Toasty in and Toasty gives her cell to Dadaji.
~Toasty's phone rings and Dadaji answers it but before he can say hello the doctor says "Mrs. Tanya Chaturvedi..I've discussed your case with Dr. Anuradha and we both agreed that you need to start your treatment right away and if you are having a problem telling your family members then I will personally come and talk to them but you have to come with your husband to my office as soon as possible" Dadaji is shocked and watches Toasty as she dances happily with everyone.
~Dadaji is in bed and depressed and in shock remembering the doctor's words over the phone.
~Next morning, Dadaji watches Toasty as she takes care of each and everyone..giving Dadaji chai, asking Gyaan about his exams, making aloo ke parathe knowing that Prachin would want them, and putting out Tej's breakfast...Shobha comes and asks Toasty which medicines Malti needs to take after morning chai as she keeps forgetting and Malti also forgets...Pashu tells Shobha not to worry since as long Toasty devi is there, there is no need for her to remember. Once Shobha goes back to Malti and Toasty is just standing there, she gets pain in her head and Dadaji sees this and watches her in shock and depression. Toasty handles herself and Dadaji sadly leaves the hall and goes to his room.
~Dadaji tries to iron his own clothes so that Toasty won't have to do it and Toasty comes and asks him why he is doing so when she is there. She notices that Dadaji is upset and keeps asking him and says you won't even tell your Toasty? If something is bothering you, if you share it with those you care about then the weight of it will decrease..why won't you tell me? Dadaji says did you tell me? and Toasty realizes that Dadaji found out and tries to leave but Dadaji holds her back and tells her that they have to start her treatment right away and he will find the best doctors to treat her. Toasty says what is the use, Dadaji? Even with treatment, what will I get out of it? A few more days to live...I would rather spend the rest of my life happily with my family than in the hospital. She makes Dadaji promise on her kasam that he won't tell anyone. They both cry hugging each other.
~At breakfast, everyone is having aloo ke parathe and Gyaan says Toasty bhabhi, you know I like mine crispy...Toasty apologizes for forgetting and is about to go to make it crispy but Dadaji scolds Gyaan and tells him that everyone else is eating it so why does he have a problem. Tej says he is a kid, let it go..he doesn't ask for much, we can give into his request, can't we? Dadaji says there is no need...Toasty has spoiled them too much. Smiley offers to do it but Dadaji tells her to sit down as well and says that if he wants it crispy, he will do it himself...even before everyone used to do their own things before Toasty came and now everyone makes her do everything and she is a person too. Smiley agrees with him on this point, saying she too has noticed that everyone depends on Toasty a lot and she has to do absolutely everything. Tej gets annoyed with Smiley and says and I've noticed that you're noticing too much and tells her to stay out of it. Pashu tells everyone to stop and that they are making such a big deal over a paratha and to let it go. Dadaji frustratedly leaves the table and everyone looks confused over Dadaji's outburst and Toasty looks sad.
Pre-Cap: Dadaji tells Toasty even if everyone will be able to move on and live without you, what about Tej? Will Tej be able to live without you? Toasty is worried and sad. Don't really have much to say today Feel a bit down (not just because of the epi)...I was hoping Dadaji finding out would cascade into the family finding out but I was expecting too much >.< I'm crossing my fingers that Tej finds out by the end of the week so that...A. If Toasty does actually have a brain tumor, she will get started on her treatment...or B. If she doesn't, then Smiley will figure out what nutritional deficiency she has.
