Sorry for disappearing the past few days...got caught in a TON of work (that still isn't over...I have midterms right now so things are a tad hectic so I"ll be on and off, meaning updates may be shorter on Mon-Wed and I might not be able to do gupshup...we'll see how it goes) <3

Just caught up with the past 3 days of episodes today...

am already frustrated with my own work and things in my own life so I don't even want to increase the magnitude of my bad mood by ranting about Nani ma...all I can say is, I thought you would be a sweet Nani on the inside but you seem to be the typical manipulative old saas who tries to talk sweetly to get her words into people's heads and can get her work done. The way she sweetly and carefully worded the way she spoke to Pitaji when trying to convince him that it would be best to not let Nitika work...baap re, kuch zyaada chalaak nikli yeh Nani ma. And that smirk!! 😡 For a second I thought I was looking at Shobha Rani 😡 And now it is obvious too that she is definitely being extremely hard on Toasty and how Toasty works because she is compared to Vimla...the number of times she pointed out to Pitaji that Toasty is not like Vimla.

Looks like Toasty will lose this bet...with all the work increasing from it's usual load, i'm sure things are going to get hectic and Toasty will make some mistake. And as the article says, there will be a fight between Tej and Ved...the only way that would happen is if Toasty made a mistake and then Ved would say something like "Toasty you should have been a little more careful" or something along those lines and Tej will get defensive over Toasty. So now we will get to see protective Tej and protective Ved...and in this fight, I feel like Nitika and Toasty may or may not get into an argument as well but I feel like Nitika would be more like "it's not Toasty's fault" because even she understands that that was a ridiculous task. It could go either way :/ I never know what to expect. We'll have to see what happens.

I'm about to head to bed so I'll have to talk about something happy now 😆 I love the Chaturvedi brothers 😳 😆 They are so cute when they joke around under their breath (Pashu and Tej in the store watching Pitaji drink water 😆 and then Tej and Ved) and TejYa phone call 😍 Haan haan...telepathy vaala tha par main Wednesday vaale phone call ke baare mein baat kar rahi hoon..."Tum mere liye kab gond ke ladoo khaogi?" 😍 Best line of the week...it's like Tej was reading my mind 🤣 🤣 C'mon Toasty, Malti's baby needs a little cousin to play with...or an even better idea...both Toasty and Nitika should get pregnant...then I wonder what Nani ma would do...she would have to manage all the housework (imagining Nani ma doing all the house chores before 6...I'm sure she's never had to do laundry for 11 people before) OR she would have to break her strict rules and make the men do housework 🤣 Ok, that's decided...we need more C babies on the way so that I can put this khadoos Nani in a dilemma 😆 And with that...I'm going to bed with lots of dreams 😉 🤣 🤣

Nani ma is disciplined but that doesn't give her the right to play with minds...if she was against Nitika working from the start (which I'm sure she was because she never looked pleased), she could have voiced that opinion. Instead she's twisting it within sweet words like "I have no problems with modernization"...which I'm pretty sure is not true. And those smirks she keeps makiing give away her true intentions. I'm not saying she's a negative character but she is definitely not a positive character.

Welcome back! I am glad you echo my thoughts that I have been splattering all over the forum last few days. Good luck with your mid-terms...when do you get spring break?

I'm glad we agree that Nani ma is a pain 😆 and she is the one creating problems 😡

My spring break was two weeks ago but it wasn't really even like a spring break because I still had MCAT class, research, and projects/papers/other homework to work on 😵 It was more like a week to try and get caught up on work rather than a break.

I have Easter break coming up in a few weeks though...hopefully that's more of a break but I don't have too many expectations.
