I know no one likes to hear this. But frankly speaking the story is getting too predictable and boring. And the comedy scenes are becoming "slap-sticky" (fighting for bathroom😒 in the morning etc... would be the last thing I care to watch on TV). They have to move on and move the story as well. Bad for TRPs otherwise. Just my two cents worth.😔
I know no one will like this post but I still would like to see if anyone shares my opinion at all.

I disagree. Even though 'bathroom' jokes appear very frequently, they always are full of humor and I am game for anything that can make me smile or give me a laugh.

I am sure story is moving forward the way it should. I have got nothing to complain about. I enjoy it one day at a time...

better than sas bahu stupid issues and crying at the drop of a hat and making mountains out of molehills...

better to laugh at stupid comedy than cry at how some stupid shows have lasted so long where everyone is crying!

It is 2011, not 2001 where shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki were liked by people when they showed sas bahu and crying and all that.

This show has been successful because of this, you are telling to cut something which can take down the show.

I have to disagree with the topic maker...I love this show with everything it has done and everything it is doing...the bathroom jokes and their comedy, I feel, is what makes this show unique in a way because it is characteristic of the Chaturvedi family, and I love that family with all their quirks and everything included <3 I personally think they are going on a great track right now and are bringing back the old flavor of SBS as well...am loving the show <3

Not really. This serial has been quirky from the beginning. Its hilarity lies in the small day to day chores that the brothers blow out of proportion and fight over. The soul of this serial is the love the brothers have for each other and the fear for Pitaji and i think its not getting boring atall. Actual i think with Ved-Nitika track, its going to get ever more interesting, as Ved will most definitely decline Nitika's proposal, given he is a bramhachari. But then it will probably be shown than he will realize his love for her through some series of events maybe? I dontk now but this new track holds a lot of potential. Given also that Sudha still goes mera Tej and Toasty, there is always drama there. Anyways hang on till this track picks up pace..not everyday can be a drama.

Exactly my point too.. it is 2011.. no place for cheap bathroom jokes or "three stooges" type comic routines either. I used to enjoy those as a high school kid several decades ago but now I like more subtle jokes based on dialogue. that is how I am anyway. Not everyone is same I understand. From the response I see I have been completely outnumbered. Not even one person shares my view. May be I am in the wrong age group or something.

Exactly my point as well. This is 2011. not 2001. I used to enjoy three stooges type slapstick comedy several decades ago. the type of bath room jokes and three stooge comedy I can no longer enjoy. I don't like "saas bahu rhona dhona" either. Even those are old fashioned. I expect subtle dialogue based humor. But I guess everyone is different and from the response I can see that I am outnumbered and no one shares my view.

I agree. The show has nothing new to offer. When the show needs to borrow the old tricks of accident and hero missing etc.. it means they are running out of idea. Also the celebration of anniversary - it is exactly like all those Saas Bahu serial celebrates holi, Janmastami etc for days after days every year. Nowadays flashbacks also occupy a significant part of the air time.. another sign of the show clealry missing any new idea.. They keep playing the same tune everytime any man and woman comes close.. similar to how those Saas Bau serials play similar tune in every episode (remember Kyunki??)
SBS started on a different path and now has run out of ideas and following any Saas Bahu Serial line and I think it would now suffer the same fate of all those long running serials - quite evident from the TRP..
All of us who come here used to love SBS one day but why to live in denial? It has become boring since the day they brough Malti.. an ever preaching Toasty and lack of any fresh idea is killing this serial.
