Toasty&Malti have nothing to do except housework?

I'm getting tired of them showing Toasty and Malti cleaning, cooking, getting into all matters of the house because they don't have anything else to do... ALL the time

Hahahhaa, Naina, that was exactly what I was going to write! You spared me that agony! Seems like Toasty's coaching and Malti's tiffin career are gone for a toss now! They could have shown that now that there are two, both have time to do their own stuff, rather than 24x7 saaf-safayi!!!

An invalid grandfather, a retired father-in-law, two school-college going young devars, 3 substantial meals a day for the 7 men. No I don't think it's practically possible for them to have any life outside chores. With two changes a day for each of the men can you imagine the amount of laundry they have to do by hand everyday?

my Mom used to do that and we loved to see her waiting for us when we used to come back from school. And what our kids get, either a lock or a maid waiting for them.

What is the point in, we women going out working for someone else and then there are maids working at our home.

I will not mind working at home if I do not have to pay mortgage and other loans.

Doing work at home in my opinion is no way downgrading.

No you are not getting old, you are simply a part of the lucky few who has had the blessing of a stay at home Mom.

I remember as kids my Mom used to wait for us to return home from school and before we even kept down our bags, we used to be full of things we simply had to share with her. Mom would be urging us to change and wash our hands while she was serving hot snacks and we would be like "just one minute, listen to this..."

Wherever we go to this day, we have to call up Mom on our way back and share our day's events with her. My mother might not have met any of my friends or colleagues, but she knows all about them. She has never been a "working woman" but it is she who I turn to for advise when I need to take sticky decisions professionally.

So many times I see the kids of my friends and cousins and wonder if the children even realize what they are missing in life. It is moments like this that give children the security and groundedness and forms the basis of healthy parent child relationship.

A housewife is much more than a drudge who performs the menial tasks that a maid can perform. She is friend, confidante, adviser and sounding board for all members in the family. She is the anchor that tells each and every person that no matter what happens in life there is someone who would always listen to you and understand you. She is the blanket of security for the present, the link to the good or bad memories of the past and the reason why everyone strives to work hard, because they want to give her a better future.

I m tired of seeing TOasty and Malti with jaadu !!!! either they cook or they clean!!!
