26th July Written Update

Written Update for 26th July

Part 1:

Sudha and Toasty are sitting on the bed at the Sharma residence and Sudha brings a plate of rajma chawal for Toasty to eat. Toasty compliments her rajma chawal and finds out that Sudha hasn't eaten yet. Sudha says that for a mother, watching her kids eat fills her stomach and there's nothing bigger than that for them...and Toasty says that ever since she was 2, she always used to feed Sudha first and feeds her a bite of food, and then Sudha feeds her. Sudha then asks what the problem at Toasty's home is and Toasty says its the Malti issue and tells her that Pashu and Chedi aren't agreeing for it because they think that past will come back. Her mom asks what the views of everyone else are and Toasty tells her that Dadaji is on her side...Sudha asks Ved?...and Toasty says that he's so innocent, he can't say yes or no but he'll never go against Pashu...then Sudha asks And Tej?...Toasty says that he is with me but he won't go against everyone else either.

Sudha says, well then if everyone is against this then why are you being so stubborn? She says that it doesn't seem right for Toasty to be sticking her nose into Pashu's life...and Toasty says, what is so wrong with worrying about his life...and Sudha says that she is only worried about Toasty's life...a storm has already come and gone in Toasty's life and when everything is peaceful, why is she trying to disturb that peace. Toasty says that when there is dirt then clothes don't get clean just like that, they must be scrubbed away and that's what she is doing and she's certain that one day all their hearts will be clean again.

Chaturvedi house...Chedi comes home...Toasty brings water for him and Pashu and Chedi calls everyone to the hall. He asks everyone individually if they have any problem in the house and they all say no. He then turns to Toasty and says that everyone is happy with their lives and no one wants more peace than we already have. Toasty says that she hasn't even said anything. Chedi says that yes, you haven't said anything but you've kept the weight of the gun on Tej's shoulder and fired it. Toasty says she did nothing like that and Chedi says then why was Tej trying to defend your case today. Toasty looks at Tej and he signals her to stay quiet. Chedi tells Toasty that the people she is trying to side with will never change and if Toasty has any problems with the work load at home, she can ask Prachin and Gyaan for help. Tej speaks up and says that it is nothing like that and Toasty just wants to...Chedi cuts him off and taunts that the lawyer has become present again to fight the case. He, Ved, and Pashu leave the hall and Tej (looking a little exasperated again) and Toasty share a look.

Sharma house...Lalit and Sudha are sitting on their bed and Lalit asks about Toasty coming home today...Sudha says that her daughter ate a full stomach today. She then asks Lalit that his grandfather was a freedom fighter, right? He must have fought many battles against the English. Lalit starts sharing his grandfather's story proudly...about how he stood at the front and yelled "Simon, go back, Simon go back" and Sudha rolls her eyes and says that Toasty is just like his grandfather except instead of yelling "Simon, go back, Simon, go back", she is yelling "Malti, come back, Malti come back" 🤣 Lalit says that his daughter is doing a good deed and Sudha asks what good deed...everyone is against her but she still is stuck to her stubborness...what will she get out of Malti coming back to that house? Lalit says that Toasty probably never even had that thought because Toasty always thinks about others first. And then he says to Sudha that she always used to worry about Toasty going to a house with no women and now she's worrying about a woman coming...Sudha says not to try and trap her in her past talks.

Chaturvedi house...Pashu's room...Pashu is remembering the day's events while bumping into Malti as he looks at the mangalsutra in his hand...Toasty calls him for dinner and he says that he is coming and hides the mangalsutra in his pocket.


Part 2:

Malti is looking for her mangalsutra and her mom scolds her for losing such an expensive mangalsutra when gold prices are raising. Malti tells her mom that her mom is more worried about the gold prices but for her it will always be a symbol of her suhaag. Her mom taunts that when she has a suhaag like that then it is better for her not to wear a mangalsutra...at least now the weight of it isn't burdening her anymore and she can breathe freely. Malti asks her mom what she is saying? And says that her mangalsutra was her last hope and now without it...she walks away when her mom asks her what's she's talking about. Her mom starts to think to herself that Malti isn't thinking about returning to that house, is she?

Chaturvedi house...TejYa room...Tej is telling Toasty to stop crying and is wiping her tears away 😳...Toasty asks him if he too thinks that she only wants to bring Malti back because of the household work being too much. Tej says are you crazy? What are you saying? Toasty says, Pitaji said so...Tej says that Pitaji said so and you took it to heart? In anger, anything can be said...doesn't it happen with me too...when I don't have anything to say, I just say something but do I really mean it? But I want you to understand one thing...the fact that this came out of Pitaji's mouth shows that he's reached a limit...and if we cross that limit then he won't stand for it...before this fight for Malti Bhabhi seemed difficult, but now for me is seems absolutely impossible...understand what I'm trying to say...Pitaji won't agree.

Toasty basically says that no one will agree...not until they get a sense of Malti Bhabhi's love. Tej is surprised at her and asks that even after all this, she still have himmat left in her? I don't have this much faith, Toasty. And nor do I have enough himmat. Toasty says that sometimes even my faith and himmat break down but do you know what I do then? I look into Pashu bhaiya's eyes and see that deep inside, there's still a Malti named diya lit within him...then I think to myself that if even today, bhaiya has kept this diya's light, then isn't it our responsibility to save that diya, bring it into the house, and let it light up the entire house? The person who gives me the strength to fight this battle is none other than Pashu bhaiya himself...now you tell me Tej...am I doing wrong by fighting for bhaiya's happiness? Tej hold her face and says no. Toasty says then we have to bring back that light, right? Tej says we will and smiles 😳

Part 3:

Dadaji asks where Chedi has gone so early in the morning...Tej replies that he had to attend a party of people coming from Kolkata...Dadaji that even Pashu is not seen anywhere...everyone wonders where Pashu is. Pashu is shown rushing towards the pile of dirty clothes and digging through them, Toasty turns around and sees him and asks if he is looking for something...Pashu says no and asks Toasty is she had taken anymore of his clothes to be washed. Toasty says no and Gyaan asks has some important bill ended up in his pocket or something? Pashu says no and Tej asks then why are you searching? And Pashu says nothing and starts complaining about everyone asking him what he's looking for. Toasty smirks and asks bhaiya, you're not searching for this are you? and holds up the mangalsutra...Pashu looks shocked...Dadaji looks over from the table and exclaims mangalsutra? then the whole clan has their own individual exclamations of Mangalsutra? 😆 and Pashu says yes, a mangalsutra. He takes the mangalsutra from Toasty and she asks where he got it from...he says that when he was in the market yesterday, he found it on the ground...a mangalsutra is a very pure thing and I didn't want to just leave it there so I picked it up. She asks him who it belongs to. He says he doesn's know and gives it to Toasty telling her that she can decide what to do with it.

Ayurvedic Center...Toasty and Malti are together and Malti tells Toasty about her meeting Pashu the other day...Toasty teases that Pashu came like a hero for her and then asks her why she is so upset if she got her purse back...Malti says that she lost something more precious...her mangalsutra and talks about how it is not only a symbol of her suhaag but people say that if a mangalsutra breaks or is lost, then something bad will happen...what if something happens to Pashu. Toasty says nothing like that will happen and to keep faith in God...and that she is sure that her mangalsutra will be found if she wants it back so badly. Malti tells her that if she is saying the truth and she will get her mangalsutra back, then she is ready to do whatever Toasty says...Toasty says then you have to return home again if your mangalsutra is found...and that she is sure that it will happen. Malti asks her how she can be so confident and that whatever she has lost up until today, she has never found again...Toasty says not to worry and that she and God share a tight relationship and that whatever she asks for, he always gives it to her so she will pray to him to get Malti her mangalsutra back...and she's sure that Malti will get her mangalsutra and her suhaag back.

Pre-cap: Chedi is yelling at Pashu that how he can even think of bringing Malti back into the house and that as long as he is alive, he can't see her come back into the house. He starts to get a slight pain in his chest and Pashu sits him down and calms him down. Chedi asks why he is even thinking about bringing Malti back? Pashu walks over to the window and looks out.

( I don't know...but I have a feeling going off of what we saw in the pre-cap that Pashu will tell Chedi that he was thinking to bring Malti back to show Toasty that Malti cannot change...or something like that maybe...sounds like something Pashu would do 😛 )
All in all a good episode...loved the Tejya scene with Tej wiping Toasty's tears away 😳
