Family time for Ravi Dubey--TOI

Enjoy watching Saas Bina Sasural and its family's onscreen antics? Well, it seems things are not so different onscreen either.

Ravi Dubey, who plays the lead, says the cast is one big happy family offscreen too.

He says, "We all have our individual rooms, but you will usually find us hanging out together in the large common area. We have great bonding and this shows on screen as well." He quips, "Our grandfather (on the show) is the youngest member of the family!"

Ravi is spiritually inclined and is part of the Bharat Soka Gakai, which follows the teachings of Nichiren, a Buddhist monk who lived in 13th century Japan. Does he usually give out advice to the team? Says Ravi, "Not directly, but I may indirectly give suggestions to my 'younger brothers' on how to tackle a problem better."
