Epi begins with Toasty's confession. Tej is hurt and angry. Toasty tries to explain that she tried many times to tell him but something always came up. Tej is very angry. He says he can't trust her anymore. He remembers the time when he came to her house and told her that he has spoken to his family about her and they have said "they'll think about it". At that time she got angry and said "Are you buying vegetables or doing shopping that your family has to "think about it"". Tej tells Toasty that at that time he got angry but then he realized that at least she was honest about how she felt and so he was proud of her. He says that it was that trust which WAS the foundation of their relationship and she has shaken it. Toasty tries to explain that Malti mom was harassing her. And she was in a tough spot with having come into a new home, a different family after marriage and struggling to win everyone's love and making the smallest mistakes at every step and upsetting everyone in the process...and on top of that Malti mom kept calling her and she tries to avoid but then she got confused. She thought maybe if she met her then she could find a solution to the problems. She only wanted to help the family but when Malti's mom started talking bad about the family she left. Tej tells her that its no excuse and reminds her that the things that have happened to this family due to them has pierced his heart everyday and what Toasty did is just made it worse.
Toasty is desperate and puts her hand on his head to take kasam but Tej stops her and tells her that she no longer has that right. Toasty is crying and pleading but Tej is so angry. He leaves the room with the pillow. He goes in the hall where Ved and gyan are sleeping. He sits on the couch angrily. Toasty comes up and whispers and asks him to come back to the room. Tej refuses and tells her to leave. Toasty tells him that he can remain angry at her and doesn't have to talk to her but please come back to the room or someone will see him and ask questions. Tej asks her why she cares when Pashu walks by. He asks Tej what he is doing outside at this time. Tej says he wanted water. Pashu asks why he is holding the pillow. Toasty takes the pillow from him and makes and excuse. Pashu leaves. Tej again angrily tells Toasty to leave him alone. Toasty leaves upset.
Next morning Ved is doing pooja and dadaji and Prachin and chatting away about Dadaji's constipation. Gyan joins them. They suddenly realize that Toasty hasn't brought tea this morning and wonder why. Tej walks in and dadaji asks where Toasty is. Tej goes to check on her and sees her cuddled on the bed. He is still angry and tells her to wake up and how come she doesn't care for the family now and what happened to her care and concern that she showed the previous night when pleading for forgiveness. He continues to talk but Toasty is not responding. He tries to wake her up and sees that she is burning with fever. He pats her cheeks and keeps saying "i am sorry, Tej". Tej yells for the family members and they call a doc. Pashu puts a blanket on her and Ved tells Prachin to get cold water to put compress on Toasty's forehead. Tej is super worried.
Doc tells everyone that Toasty's fever is better but she got it due to stress. Chedi asks why she is stressed and Dadaji tells him its because she is worried about his health. Chedi tells everyone to be ashamed as even with all these family members Toasty is the one who has to stress about his health. Toasty tells Chedi that Dadji was just joking. Chedi walks away with the doc and Toasty goes to rest. Later she suddenly wakes up from her sleep startled. Prachin and Gyan who are sitting by her bed studying ask what is wrong. She says she lost track of time and she has to make breakfast. They tell her Ved already made it. Then she tries to get up and clean the house and wash clothes. They tell her they both did that already too. They tell her to rest as until she is fully well they will take charge of all the duties. They leave. Tej is cutting apples and turned away from Toasty. She asks him if he is still upset with her (Tej is cryingðŸ˜). Tej tells her that its not fair that she can punish herself and but he doesn't have the right to do the same. Toasty tells him that she knows he is crying and begs him to forgive her. He comes over to her and accepts her apology on the condition that she promises never to meet Malti and her mom again. Toasty promises and tells him to promise he'll never cry because of her. He says he wasn't crying but Toasty tells him he can't lie. They hug and Tej kisses her forehead. 😊
Tej made me cry today. Such good acting of both angry Tej and crying Tej. But i am glad they worked it out. I was afraid this whole thing would blow out of proportion as it looked like when Tej was upset without any consideration towards how Toasty must be feeling.
