😊 Hi Everyone! 😊

In recent times I have observed that SBS has definitely become fearless in itz approach..and we all discussed the change. 😊 But now SBS seems to have taken interest in creating controversies.

Take the recent cases of Pulkit Samrat and Rajat Tokas.

Pulkit was spotted performing in Indian Television Academy Awards 2007 where Balaji actors were not allowed. On being asked why he is here in spite of the rule he said that therez no 'Yashraj Actor'..and likewise therez no 'Balaji Actor'. He also said that as an entertainer he should grab all opportunities to entertain the audience.

Well, wats wrong in that? He is right. And SBS showed him in such negative light and even said that they fear that he will meet the same fate as Iqbal Khan did.

Another one, which is more shocking than any other is the case of Rajat Tokas. Rajat was recently shown in SBS (18 Dec) as a "changed" person.

This is what SBS exactly said,

"Vaise khabron ki maane to Rajat Tokas ki prasidhi ne unhe bahut badal diya hai. Kyunki glamour ki duniya mein aksar aisa dekha jaata hai ki shohrat ke milte hi aadmi badal jaate hain aur shayad darshako ka pyar aur haal hi mein mile Best Actor ke award ne iss nanhe se bachche ko bana diya hai apni umra se kuch bada."

What exactly do they mean by this? They have not mentioned anything clearly. 'Badal diya hai' could mean any of the following things:

* the most obvious conclusion, which most people are deriving, is that Rajat has changed for bad. He has become arrogant and has 'celebrity attitude' now.

* that he has become proudy of his popularity

* However, this could also mean that Rajat has grown up very early, unlike other teenagers of his age (14 years) who are not expected to be that mature.

If you ask me then this clever approach of SBS has served two purposes, it has created confusion among Rajat's fans and has created a controversy.

Everyone is interpreting the 'special report' in the first manner. But after seeing the VOI CU on Friday I can very confidently say that Rajat has not become proudy or has some attitude. He has just become more mature and that too very early in his life. He is now aware of the world, the industry, people and their approach towards him! Thatz it. SBS should not have shown Rajat in this supposedly 'negative light'.

Another example is SBS's Saturday's episode with Recap of VOI CU's episode in which Rajat came as a guest judge. We all know that Rajat cried after Jayant sang and also kept on encouraging all ustaads throughout the show, which was very mature of him. He even asked two participants to become friends with each other and not to fight.

But SBS did not choose to show any of these. Instead they showed him saying something about Sanyogita.

I feel SBS's approach towards delicate matters was very decent and respectful earlier. But now all they seem to care about is the viewership of their show and not of any actor's repute. They seem to be involved in manipulation these days.

What do you all think?

I am not surprised... First to get viewership they could use PRC and Rajat's popularity to do interviews/clips...

Now that Rajat is not on the show the only thing they can come up with is negative stuff and all for TRPS.

Such hypocrites - she says our fav person or something and then they show everything out of context - specially the VOI segment.

You can't trust the media - one day they are with you next day against you. whatever sells.

i guess u r rite actors who get fame specially frm the balaji camp tend to b loyal to ekta but i guess its nice for a change tht pulkit doesnt think tht way i mean ekta did give him his platform but i feel it was his hard work tht brought his popularity which doesnt at all make him a balaji actor 😉
as for rajat i dont think he is an actor jo badal gaya hai he is truly down to earth in all means 😳

to some extent i disagree with u and accept boldness of SBS.
But abt Rajat Tokas at SVOI...they showed it very badly and completely agree with u...even i felt tht was wrong..i have never seen his show, so dont know much abt him. had seen him many times on SBS, knew he was getting popular and who knows arrogant or not; but felt really bad the way whole thing was projected abt him.

its not abt only him but at a couple of other places too...SBS kept saying one thing time and again and neglected something imp abt that person

hey no offence to anyone...and yes i do love SBS.
