His performance was extremely overrated, he was shouting and at times I was cringing listening him singing.

His performance was the last one of the day and judges got way too excited!

Yes judges were happy that it is actually getting over for that day... 😆 sitting next to Himesh and Aadesh is not easy... 😆 .

Now as far as Debo D is concerned his song selection was not good, there is hardly any thing to prove in this song and going by judges criteria itself they are looking for a unique and new voice and not another Atif/James brand singer..DD was shouting at higher pitch at times and must fine tune his sur..wait for some days sab doodh ka doodh aur......

but do we have any participant from down South India..?

Debojit has lots of energy and is a crowd pleaser. But in singing the Kolkatta singers are very gifted and skilled. But this time we need good sufi singers. I expect Pakistan sigers to provide the surprise package, this is their territory. Several are singing NFAK songs even at the start.

I think when he was performing, and the way crowd was cheering, that loudness part was natural. Otherwise his control on sur was excellent. I'm not sure how well he'll perform in coming days, but they say "First impression is the last impression". So his first impression will atleast give him slight advantage over other contenders.!

DD definitely was full of energy which one can say by the way he was shouting at the higher pitch and was off sur most of the time 👎🏼 I felt his singing performance was the worst of all on July 4th episode 😳 Dunno what the judges and Audiance heard in his singing to give him so much hype by standing ovation and asking for "Once more" performance 😕 😳
