Zee US is going to strangle me one of these days 😆 😆

Ok... first I contacted ATN/Zee Canada and all I was told is that they have no idea when it will ever begin here.

Next I called Mr. Bindra of Zee US. After few calls he finally answered and said meetings are going on for them to find a suitable timeslot to begin airing SRGMP C2009. They are doing their best to make this happen before aug. 1. I said can you at least confirm that if you cannot show earlier then you will at least begin on Aug. 1 and he confirmed that is definite.

Instead of repeating musical shows Sunday mornings they could at least show us the start of C2009 na? He said they are considering it.

I don't get the reasoning behind starting the USA programming 4 weeks after India, when we are supposed to be sending in votes! How are you supposed to vote for a performance 4 weeks after the fact!!!!

Come on ZEE doesn't make sense. Think of all the votes you are going to lose!!!

good news for everyyon
i sent an email asking how are we gunna vote its unfair
and i got an email back saying taht the show will start before the voting starts
meanin its starting soon
and also
i get what he means..remember last ye 1st judges came and elimated pl there was no voting until top 12
thats what they mean
so it might start a lil earlier than aug but not that soon
keep emailing guys!

Hey, I just caught those series of promos too...regarding upcoming entertainment on Zee TV USA and the promo about SRGMP stated a repeat telecast of SRGMP 07 Grand Finale.
It is interesting that Zee TV USA has the time slots to show repeat telecast and omnibus of weekly episodes on weekends, yet they are searching for a right time slot to start SRGMP Challenge 2009. 😕

It was announced that Darshana had won the USA Challenge. So no one needs to wait until August.

And I just caught the SRGMP 2009/5th July videos on Youtube (see, not only do I not have Zee TV, I don't even need it!): Darshana was inducted into HR's Rock gharana, and Jeffrey into Shankar Mahadevan's Lakshya gharana.

Farhan competed as a contestant from Pakistan, but the competition was so stiff that he wasn't inducted. He is in the Eklavya gharana.

"I am sorry to say that due to non-availability of slot we are not in a position to show Saregamapa 2009 before August 01. We will catch up before the voting starts"

Yea I got the same response, then I wrote the following:

In every forum I have seen, no one enjoys the SaReGaMaPa USA competition. Can you not remove that and add the competition that is going on in India? That is what ALL of us are interested in seeing.

They wrote:

I sent the following email this time:

Witholding shows from US customers that are being shown in India could be a legal issue also. It is not fair that we cannot watch a major part of the competition when it makes or breaks who we will want to vote for. In these first shows, we are introduced to the contestants and their lives, it is important for us to also know who they are and where they come from. The teams are being picked now, and we in the US and Canada, cannot see that. I don't care what hour it shows. You can take out the hundreds of serial repeats we get over and over again throughout the day. Or you can put it in the middle of the night. We can tape and watch, but at least we can get to see it. It doesn't have to be real time, we don't mind it.
