Composer- Singer(F) Successful Jodi Spl !!!
When the lyrics, composition and the perfect voice to carry on a a composition merge well – an ageless, timeless, everlasting memorable, magical melody is created!! The "Choice of Voice" plays a very critical role for a composition to succeed. Sometimes a composer first selected the singer and then created a song tailor made for that particular singer. Thus emerged the historical Composer – Singer Jodis whose association together have gifted the audiences some of the best creations of all times.
Indian Film music has tales of many such musical jodis and the success of the song cannot be attributed to either the composer or the singer but it is credited to both together.

Madan Mohan – Lata Mangeshkar team was one such successful story. Lata sang for almost all his films. Lata Mangeshkar was the last word for him. Madan Mohan had this special ability to highlight the tenderness in Lata's voice and each time he composed just the perfect score for her. Together they have created some of the best ageless classics from the golden era.
OPNayyar and Asha Bhosle was another successful jodi of their times. O P Nayyar played a big role in shaping Asha's musical career. She was always his first choice. He was instrumental in molding Asha Bhosle's voice and together these two ruled the music charts of late 50's and the 60's and their fruitful association had produced some of their best songs.
