Mauli says nothing has been yet finalized yet so she can't provide any details. "Professionally I'm very superstitious so it will be too early to comment but it's true that I have been approached. I will declare it myself when everything is finalized."



About her singing career, she says, "I'm currently recording for Bhojpuri and Nepalese films. I'm also keen on singing for South Indian films."

Nicknamed as Indian Shakira by Bappi Lahiri, Mauli has also been receiving offers for acting. "I did receive an offer for a film but I turned it down. I wouldn't like doing anything which isn't good for me."

Are you following Little Champs? "Yeah I had gone on the sets to meet the young talented singers. Among the 9 finalists my favourites are Rohit and Vibhore. I am also very touched with the singing of Vasundhara from Delhi. She is blind but her talent is really good. Recently, I went to Vibhore's birthday bash as he had requested me to be present."

Coming from Texas, U.S., Mauli earlier found it very difficult to bear Mumbai's pollution which resulted in her going down with severe flue. But she says, "Everything is normal now. I am taking good care of my voice and have also adjusted to the fast life of Mumbai."

Asked whether she is still in touch with her Sa Re… pals, she answers, "Last year only we had a world tour where I met Amanat, Junaid, Sumedha, Aneek, so it was great fun as old memories were relived."
