I personally feel it was very insensitive on Sonu Nigams part to share the dialog with Amir about Amir's dad's profession. Amir has taken him in confidence to share it.Why bring it out in open and make Amir catch the spotlight? Had Amir wanted this information shared , he would have mentioend it beofre itself.

It was just not required. Sonu could have said the rest without mentioning Amir's name there.

his intention was good. he wanted to tell Amir about his personal struggles because his father was there and they both could talk about it and encourage him. but your're right, he didn't really need to openly say it. the sad thing was that Amir started crying when he said it. It even made me (one of sonu's biggest fans) mad at him for a split second. i think Amir wasn't expecting it to be shared with the public like that. poor kid. 😭

it's hard to believe, but for once in an anti-sonu topic, i'm not defending him. because this time i do feel that what he did was not required. even though i am his fan, i can't blindly defend him for everything.

but just because of this, i won't stop being his fan, because this is the first time he has done something (besides straightening his hair 😕 😆 ) that i don't agree with. nobody's perfect. even people who seem to be perfect end up making mistakes. maybe he was just so overwhelmed by the surprise and really wanted to share his story with Amir that he didn't realize he was putting him on the spot. he loves kids, and i'm sure he wouldnt want to hurt one intentionally.

I agree he had no malice in mind .He wanted to inspire Amir, but he could have done the same away from the camera, backstage and that would have had a bigger impact.

In fact even today he said that Amir is not much educated.... Sonu does not need to make these statements on camera.... he can guide the participant off camera and still give good advices.

He keeps talking about L'lil champs not needing sympathy votes and stuff, then why bring private personal points out in the open and make it a point of discussion..?

I am also a big fan of Sonu...and just to make a point clea, this topic is not about bashing Sonu, or being anti Sonu. Its about criticising an action in an objective way without getting personal.

When we watch something and appreciate something, we have to have eyes open for both its good and bad points. Just because we like so and so, we won't hear any criticism about him, or her... I think that is not being a fan but its more of being a fanatic. A true fan is one who with an open mind will look at the viewpoints and state points rationally.

To members its a request - this is not a Sonu bashing topic... so please don't resort to it... 😳 thanks.

oh sorry maybe i used the wrong word there. i meant to say that this is the first topic that is criticizing him which i actually agree with. because for the past few days people had opened many topics to criticize him in which i was defending him like his lawyer.

i haven't seen today's episode yet so i can't comment on the education topic.

This comment is not on Amir Khan, but Amir Hafeez, a participant of the show and it is a very good movie- a must watch..
