Sonu's Double Standards

Don't you think this guy is inconsistent sometimes due to favouritism.. Was vaishali's performance this week so good that she got "A+" from both the judges. He said Tanmay's song was easy and gave "A" (Mind you there was rapping etc also in that), then don't you think Vaishali's song was on the same lines. And when compared to Smitha's song where she modulated voice so well according to male and female voices vaishali's song was relatively easy. I think Vaishali is getting undue attention due to her bold attitude.

mind blowing mahiya (as dumb as the title makes it sound 😆) is not as easy as chali chali. plus vaishali is the youngest contestant so she is marked much easier because it's just not fair to mark her in the same way as kids older than her.

and as far as smita's song goes, she was pretty bad on saturday. she sang the song in a scale too high for her which forced her to sing in a falsetto and her voice sounded very shrieky in the high notes. yes, sonuji was a bit too rude to smita but you know there are times when people aren't themselves and say a bit too much without thinking. its because smita is so good usually and he expects so much from her so he was disappointed.

First thing, there should be one rule for one competition. No one is older kid here. Everyone is within the same age group. This is just a bahana to keep Vaishali as long as they want. Because ZeeTV needs that for doing all these natankis for their TRP.

Regarding Sonuji behavior, he was too rude. You are saying Sonu said something without thinking. How a good judge can say something without thinking? That shows he lost it.

wow, if sonu nigam is not a good judge, then someone please tell me who is the "ideal judge" of a reality show. because before this week, that was sonu nigam.😆 just because he was rude to one person in one episode to sab unke peeche pad gaye. arre yaar everyone has those days when they loose it. that doesnt take away the fact that his comments are so musically acurate and, with the exception of one, encouraging. what he said to smita was bang on, just a bit rude. and vaishali's song was not easier than tanmay's song, so i dont agree with the topic starter's point there about double standards.

this is my challenge. someone name a person who has judged a full season of saregamapa better than sonu nigam. be careful guys, main sabki galtiyan khod khod ke nikal lungi.😛

He didnt even loose it for a day, just a few minutes. Only after smita's performance. Unki baat 100% correct thi, bas kehne ka tarika galat tha. Par ek season mein sirf ek choti si galti..pretty good compared to other judges.😛

The topic is about sonu nigam and I was talking completely about sonu nigam, so I dont see where I left the topic. even if we start comparing other judges with him, it will still be on topic.

Anyways, you didnt make it clear before that you meant he was a bad judge for a day. Now that its clear i guess discussion ends here.
