After yesterday's show one thing was getting clear that maybe when it comes to internet voting maybe this time they hv put some bar on the IP's.....what i could make out was from a single IP one can give just one vote.

But what about phones? why no bar on that? From phones now u can give as many votes as u feel like.....so now does it not become that one who has more money can make sure that his/her ward wins the contest....how fair is that on the part of zee for all the contestants? why not a bar on number of calls or sms from the phones too.

They have now got some IP scanning to restrict the votes. But can they be fully successful in that? There are so many resorting to IP spoofs. Those really desparate will find a way around to abuse the rule.

If they restricted the internet votes, then why not SMS votes? More internet votes would have meant more hits to the sites thus generating more revenue for the site manager from which I am sure Zee would have had a substantial earning,. But is the profit margin more in SMS vote revenue sharing?

Or is phone vote screening a tougher proposition than IP address screening?

There are too many loopholes in the system and too many bypasses can be taken by people. But unless they restrict the number of votes /phone, all the participants cannot be brought in the same page and those with access to money will always have an edge over those who are not so affluent.

IP address scanning also not fair always.

For example we have one internet connection but we are 4 adult living in the household. So according to this rule only one vote will be counted. What will happen to other 3 votes. The rule should allow at least a limited numbers of votes per IP address.

Another rule they should introduce that a certain number of SMS can be sent from one phone. I am sure Zee TV will not do that because their income will get effected from this rule.

If Sonuji and Sureshji want to clean this system they shpould go ahead announce the rules ahead of time so that people know the rules and regulations.

This is the reason why I liked the system NB had in their last season. From one IP or phone maximum 20 votes were allowed. Not more.

That gives a much fair result. If same is done for all SMS votings it would give a better results. Just now what Zee has done will make things really unfair for those who may not be too well financially.

IP spoofing will not effect much. Reason how many actually know the technique? But if a bar, not just one vote but say maximum 10 votes, is made for all voting options then much more fair results can be expected.

You said it right.

In other words what Sonu and Suresh said is called hypocrisy. We all know how public voting works. It's not just one vote per person, it's fanaticism. Zee Tv's system is itself wrong, why "koso" someone's parent in front of camera? Pehle system ko thik koro .

Look at the difference of votes between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position, it will make you think about all the manipulation. It never looked real to me at least.

This makes a lot of sense. No household can have more than 20 members.😆 so it will be perfrect yet controlled.

Another thing they should try is :

Disallow voting from home city for that city's participant. For example, say if it is for Vasundhara.... then the delhi votes for her will not be counted. Same with the others. That way overwhelming votes for the city pride can be minimised and this voting madness can be controlled. However, how far it can be apllied god alone knows,

They can vote for the remaining contestants. Yes, if this is applied then the super duper profit will go down, but musical talent will profit.

There are way too many musical contests going on now and spending money like water to select your fav is actually a harakiri for the voters which they are not realising now. But if they are restricted, then the number of votes will come down, but the results will be more realistic.

well said...Something I wanted to bring up too ...and wht abt computers in internet cafes..In one day,at least 20 ppl must be using one PC..Wht if 10 of them want to vote & they end up voting from the same PC? 😉...Saara effort barbaad ho gaya 😉..as Thakur saab has pointed out maybe 20 votes per PC makes some sense..But as such,if it has to be fair play, then they shld allow limited number of votes per PC & use the same limit for SMS too..Otherwise,it is clear that it is a money making racket 😉

this is wht I said in another thread and ppl were at my throats for it 😉😆😆.....yes,i def didn't like the idea of blaming Loria's father ....It is a system problem & everyone who is part of the system or supporting the system is responsible for it
