He spent Rs.70.000.00 for sms!

Just watched the programme and saw the two wild card entries. Loria did not get her re-entry and her father got up and shouted out saying that it was impossible for her to be eliminated(not given entry) because they sent more that one lakh votes. Plus he spent Rs.70.000.00 on sms's. Bravo. a very big amout.

Hope we get a singer who is really worth it for singing.......singing only.

Loria's father seems to be over-obsessed with her. Poor girl getting over-pressurised may be. Wonder he did any hanky-panky with her studies also. Hopefully not but you know given the situation in india how you can get anything done with money. Also whats the big deal if she comes into top 10, was he prepared to spend money every week to keep her. How was he planning to keep her until the end. 😕 For me its just a waste to do all this. He should take her back and spend money to give her proper training. If she works hard and destined she will go far no matter what.

it's actually pretty disturbing to hear that parents can resort to such underhand methods to ensure their kids do well.

like i said before in one of my posts in a similar topic, loria's dad could have used the money he spent on the sms/online voting & saved it for loria's education.

why throw away so much of money for a competition? as far as i know, loria's a very bright & gifted girl. even if she's ousted from this competition, she can always take up the academic path for her future.😊

loria's dad just about destroyed her future by announcing on national television that he resorted to such cheap means to ensure her entry back into the competition. now people are casting shadows of doubts over loria's academic achievements too. that too only because her dad couldn't keep his trap shut.😔

yeah, he seems to be a really agressive and pressurizing parents...in some ways, it's good bc loria is so advanced in her studies, but in other ways, he is just teaching her how to get around the system by voting for yourself tons of times.
