if you want to watch drama then watch the thousands of soap operas that you have given the list of *yawn*
I for one think it is a GREAT accomplishment for a kids show to be aired in the Prime Time hour and get such good ratings!
And personally I AM LOVIN' THE FORMAT!!! Thank you Sonu and Suresh for putting some dignity back into the show! It is such a welcome and refreshing change! I don't have to mute or change the channel while watching SRGMP which hasn't happened in a LONG TIME.

Not always TRPs decide a shows success and as Bhaskar Bro said it has topped in all reality shows and thats a GR8 news I guess!!!!!
A few years back, Sa Re Ga Ma, hosted by Sonu had nothing other than pure music, still was a Big HIT!!!!!!!!
Now audience have got so much used to the dramas in each n every reality show, be it talent hunt show or celebrities' show, that the present format which is trying to bring back the old favour seems to be boring--
No matter whether this show succeeds in winning the race of TRPs or not, but I just hope it succeeds in bringing back the old format , which was followed in SA RE GA MA and MERI AWAAZ SUNO
