Shaan quits!

Shaan will not continue as the host of Star Voice Of India. Producer of the show Gajendra Singh says that he wants to focus on films now

Shaan Shaan who has been the face of Star Voice of India, will not host the upcoming series beginning November 30. The show called Star Voice Of India - Chhotey Ustad will have 12 kids and will be judged by Shreya Ghosal, Pritam and Kunal Ganjawala. Shaan secretly threw a farewell party after the final episode of the show on November 24 at his residence. The Star Plus bosses and Gajendra Singh (producer) are keeping their lips sealed about who will take Shaan's place. An insider reveals, "Gajendra is juggling with the idea of asking one of the contestants from the recently concluded series to act as the host. He is thinking of signing on either Aabhas Joshi or Priyani Vani. Else, he might opt for a TV actress." Speculations are rife as to why Shaan left the show all of a sudden. Our source says, "Shaan told Gajendra that he needs a break. He has been associated with Gajendra from the days of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee." When contacted, Gajendra confirmed that Shaan will not be a part of the Chottey Ustad series. He says, "Shaan had informed me of his decision a long time back. He wants to focus on films." Gajendra also admitted that he has auditioned Aabhas, Priyani and few TV actresses as a possible replacement. He adds, "We have some names on board. I am open to suggestions." "Shaan will return for the next series of Star Voice Of India. However, it is not easy to find a replacement for Shaan. I feel that I have lost my right arm," says Gajendra. Shaan remained unavailable for comment.

Well I guess everyone needs a break but Shaan has been a great Anchor and I wish him all the best. He is very diplomatic and commands a lot of respect. 👏 👏 👏

Its good if he left this show for forever 😊

I do not why but I do not like him much.

I am quite surprised and he has such a likeable and agreeable personality. But frankly it is time for him to comeback as a Judge like Sonuji.

Only problem would be if both Sonuji and Shaan were to be the judges who would take the hard decision of being the executioner. Both are too obliging.😆

A lady Judge cud do the trick, whether rational or not perhaps.

I supported Toshi and Irfaan who were clearly the best but they did not even make the finals because of regional votin🤢😡.... all in all SRGMP was the only reality that had the most desercing finalist!👏
