Hello Friends

The much awaited results of the Gharana contest is finally out 😃 There were totally 8 contestants who participated from which we will be eliminating 3 contestants.. So, there will be totally 5 contestants in the final round 😛

Here are the results:

So, the eliminated contestants are –shriyaroxxx, Saraa and Jaseeka.

Elimination of Rock Gharana

Here a point to be noted is - two contestants from Rock gharana get eliminated and so does the Rock Gharana mentor.. The mentor of Rock Gharana was - Kuch Na Kaho.. Thanks to all the Rock Gharana participants and the mentor for participating in the contest 👍🏼 Siggy's of participation will be posted during the final results 😊

Now for the final Task - This round will decide the winner for this contest.. 😛

Final Task

The last remaining contestant of the respective gharana is going to release an album next month. You have been given the whole sole incharge for this album.. So, it will be Amanat for Yalgaar gharana, Sumedha for Josh Gharana and Raja for Hit Squad

You have to

Write a song consisting of 10 lines for the contestant. This song will be the main song that will feature in the album.
Select the Music Director and finalize the date for recording (Specify the MD you will select for the contestant and why)
Take incharge for promotion of the album. (Write all the innovative ways by which you will promote the album)
Also Design a CD cover for the album. (You cannot take the picture from the internet and design a cover of your own)

For Example - The members of the Hit Squad will have to do all the above for the contestant Raja..

Date of Submission - 4th November 2007. Midnight 12 IST.

The Mentors of the respective gharana are requested to collect the entries and PM it to - srgmp*contest*

You did a great job dear.. All the contestants in rock gharana also did a very good job.. The irony is Rock gharana was the one to win in SRGMP C2007 and here, its first to go!!!

10 lines:
10 lines FOR Raja [my case]
like I would put down HIS characteristics and stuff
or a song for Raja to sing on any topic, not mattering if based on him

and what does it mean by 10 lines?

[EXAMPLE]
tanhaiiiiiiiiiyyyaaaaan, tanhaiyaan.........
saara aalam, saare mausam, saari khushiyaan, saari duniya
tere bagair tere bagair tanhaiyyan, tanhaiyyan......
saare sapne, saare manzar, sari khushiyaan, saari duniya, tere bagair
tanhaiyyan, tanhaiyyan....

tanhaiyaan, tanhaiyaan........
fursat ke lamho mein (tera hi naam likha hai - 2)
mere din, raaton mein (tera hi dard chhupa hai - 2)
bechaini aisi badhi, teri aarzoo mujhe har ghadi
saare nagme, saari mehfil, saari khushiyaan, saari duniya, tere bagair

would that TANHAIYAAN, TANHAIYAAN count as ONE line?

and if we put -2 [indicating repeat twice], would that count as two lines??

Any credit if we sing it and send it? [EXTRA credit?]😆

No, those lines would not count.. You cant write - Main Raja Hoon in all 10 lines and send 😆

All 10 lines should be different.. 😛
