Fake Singing in Live Performances

Why do they resort to fake singing in Live performances. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa claims that millions all over watched them live, singing away to glory on Grand FInale (including Akshay Kumar belting out one of his latest hits, oh, c'mmon, gimme a break!).

i too felt that they r not singing...and they cannot ....because in earlier episode we heard their breath but in live with all jumping and dance they were fine....

yup..itz quite obv wen they sing live and wen they dont...

but that video was fun to watch..the vishal-shekhar live performance was much much better than the recorded ones...in terms of entertainment and enjoyment 😳

They werent singing live but they werent "fake singing" they just did that so thye wont stand in one place and sing and they would makeit funner to watch entertainment wise.... aso about Akshey Khumar he didint sing the actual song he was singing ontop the actual track.... 😕

yeah about the akshay kumar one....i think he was singing that live....just ontop of the original track..

he does that alot wenever he performs...he sings quite often...but ontop of the original...so it seemed like it was recorded...but i think his singing was live..

Akshay's singing was live... cause he made quite a few lil errors LOL!! But aw well they did that so ppl can see how entertaining the finalists can be... they already sang live so many times I guess! 😕

Zee always makes contestants pre-record their songs and lipsync during live stage concert performance. Same way the introduction songs where they all sing together at the beginning of an episode and dance around. They want to minimize chance of errors and allow contestants to focus on their dancing I guess. I would prefer the live singing personally...it's way more fun when the contestants are singing in the moment. You can see them put more feel into it.
