ID was most disappointing mentor in C2007

Throughout the contest, I kept waiting for the old ID to show up, but he never did! In C2005, ID was the best mentor, always fair, always encouraging (to other gharana contestants at least), never really stooping to lowly tactics. And he really brought the best out in his students.

But, alas, this time he started and remained HR's flunky and alternate mouthpiece!!!

you paid attention to everything else, but skipped the most essential point.

He helped Amanat and Poonam to evolve as singers. Poonam and Amanat of then and now, there is a big difference.

No, Ismail was not the most disappointing. Zee's system was disappointing. So many questions should never have been able to brought up.

Agreed. And, now Zee has sunk even lower giving puff-piece interview to fool the people. The cover-up is even slimier than the crime.

Oh, I agree! Their attempt at covering up (especially by that Ashish dude) is very sloppy. In order to suppress through calming, they need new spokespeople or something.

VS were the best, but i would say ID was second best, and then bappi da and HR....Both BD and HR were soo biased amgonst their own contestants, now thats extremely sad

nonetheless, HR was the worst, no doubt.

And ID does have a right of speech, he can say what he believes or feels, you cant hate him for that!

I grant you that! He did groom them very well. I didn't forget that - was just trying to make a different point.
