For SMS and Telephone voting, the channel has to enter into an agreement with the local telephone service providers, for voting as well as revenue sharing. and Such trade agreements with Pakistan require a lot many legal and ministry hurdles and is not possible. Rather if you have seen, even the auditions round selections in Pakistan were conducted my local legendary singers while everywhere else the mentors themselves selected the contestants.

So kindly dont blame Zee for this. the truth is that for any channel in India its not possible to enter into this agreement with telephone service provider.

The way you presenting this post looks like you are part of the negotiating team member on behalf of Zee TV. How much you know how this kind of deal works. I think we all should think before we start saying and writing.

I am sure you will agree that my Didi you leaves in India calls her best friend once a month in Pakistan and million other do that every day. I am sure India and Pakistan do share there revenue on Telecommunication.

Yes i also agree i have seen my friend calling his online friend from india to pakistan Marthon city i think some KM away from peshawar... quite regularly.... lekin what he said me is that if he uses Airtel or tata (idea) service.. it wont connect much lekin if he uses Hutch (international company) it connects quite faster😊..so there is channels to call...

but as abhi they might strike a deal... coz in dubai or in saudi all SP(srvice providers) dindnt have the facility to send sms only 1 compnay had the service to vote this show..

I think there is a lot of talks on unfairness of competition without any base... atleast i hv some circumstantial base in my arguement....

and I dont think there is any kind off revenue sharing between telephone comapnies for ISD calls within two countries😊

But yaar.....Sms not allow from pak mean, indo-pak issue automaticly raise this topic its natrual.....😳

Also I heard in canada SMS service is so costly that not many opt for it😊

nope... because this thread is not to complain about the results.... it was to say a possible reason why SMS and telephone votes could not be allowed from pakistan.😊

yes but to do SMS is even easier take less band with and more money for both ends. No as you said I can understand but currently Pakistan Tel com is controlled by Pak Govt and they still have deal in Place with India. So one has to have the urge to do that business I am sure which will happen in next competition.
