In truth, yes, all of the contestants deserve a lot of respect for their achievements. They have established a positive reputation in the celebrity world, for the most part.

However, certain contestants seem to demonstrate a higher level of maturity, professional ability, independence, innocense/pure intention, and open-minded consideration.

Which of the listed contestants do you feel has conveyed his or herself as the one most worthy of respect in regards to what he said, how he said it, his respect for those around, his ability to control his emotions, his behavior, and his overall etiquette? Provide reasoning.

Keep in mind, certain contestants have had to withstand more drama and heat than others, so consider how they deal with the situation. Other contestants play more of an "invisible" role when it comes to their personality--they don't say or do much, so we can only judge from what we see.

Edit: I apologize for mispelling Mauli's name.

I guess I'll open this up by casting my vote and giving my reasoning.

I'd say Amanat.

1) He seems to have the right thing to say when people bring up suspicions against him. (Ex: the Independence Day issue)

2) He knows how to show how gracious/thankful he is by being a "Mr. Brightside" (ex: his remarks after being announced 2nd Runner Up)

3) The way he always first welcomes the guests onto the show.

4) The way he maturely accepts any Guru advice/critiques on his singing.

5) His little innocent boyish laugh when he gets a compliment.

I already established they are all respectable, but certain factors makes one person seem like they deserve more props than another.

Why I did not choose the others:

Aneek- His boyish naivety gets to be frustrating. He tries far to hard to be something he's not. It can be cute, but I feel he really could stand up to Himesh. He has potential.

Harpreet- He was a quiet one. What made me wonder a bit at his intention was how he grieved at how he's always been at the bottom, as if it was someone else's fault other than himself. Blaming will not get you anywhere. His intention may be pure, but I had to consider this. I still do respect him a lot for not talking much and keeping calm. Himesh should learn from him.

Junaid- Junaid seemed overly sweet, it's hard to find anything against him. I guess I just feel this "overly sweetness" is too good to be true. He often makes strange faces when facing hard critiques against his singing...but he swallows them warmly. There aren't enough instances to put him above anyone else, however.

Mauli- I find her Western vibe makes her seem too outgoing and carefree to have that super-respectable nature. She may be sweet, but instances like when she walked up to that one celebrity to come to stage when she sings just irks me.

Mussarat- He was one of my final candidates for this thing. The way he smiles it off both when he gets compliments and insults is very respectable. He's quiet and reserved, but I feel that may be a bit of his weakness. When Himesh literally blamed Raja for Mussarat's elimination, Mussarat stood quietly--not knowing what to say. I don't blame him; Himesh can be a monster, but I felt Mussarat had the chance to say more, but didn't.

Poonam- She was my third final candidates for this. She has the innocent village girl charm to her. When she smiles, it makes everyone else want to smile. I guess I feel she hasn't done enough to show how she faces dilemma. The way the gurus say it, they make it sound like she complains the public vote for her for her condition not her music. Also, when she said her daughter's voice is bad... I think she just simply worded it wrong. Cute mistake.

Raja- I love Raja's smile. It's contagious. His overemotional nature--like when he was crying crazily during the Independence Day dilemma... and when he gets all pumped up, like when he sang "Kiss Me Baby"... it's very very cute. Innocent too. But I feel he almost doesn't know how to control these emotons. In the face of hardship, he really does not know how to deal. Though he doesn't seem to have a bad bone in his body, I think his extreme emotions make him a bit sloppy. It's not a bad thing though. Love Raja.

Sumedha-- My problem with Sumedha is just her misleading/mysterious facial expressions. Her voice is sweet, both singing and talking, but when she's upset or in a situation, she makes really odd faces. You can't tell if she's being cold or just upset. Her intention is too hard to determine.

Note: I DO respect them all. I am simply giving reasons why I put Amanat above the rest.

Let's put it this way. If I were to give them points according to who has the most proper etiquette, for example, the difference in points between Amanat, and let's say, Raja or Harpreet... may be .4 points. It's no big deal.

I am just interested in hearing folks' reasoning.

Haha.. I don't think Mauli's way down there. She never showed any signs of having a bad attitude or being ungrateful. That credit goes to her guru Bappi Da
