Mauly blew away every body with her superlative performance when she sang Maya Maya for the first time. She left all the mentors and public speechless with that performance and the question lingering at that time was ...Can any body beat her? We saw her journey from there on...Than people saw the magic of Sumedha's and Poonam's voice and they are gone too..All female contestants are unfortunately gone...No girl could reach the top 3 because of insufficient votes..

Now it is all Dada Dada..The three finalists are all male.....Raja hasan of Bikaner, Aneek Dhar of W Bengal and Amanat from Pakistan's Punjab..Do it bother you that there is no female contestant in the finals or you are ok the way things are at this time..

If bharat junta had its way Poonam would've reached the top 3. But international votes got Amanat a berth in the finals. But I don't have a problem with that.
Barring the kiddie contest LC, no girl has reached the top 3 in the regular contests.

It bothers me. I don't understand why no girl has reached the finals despite being as worthy, maybe even more, than the male contenstants.

One thing I've noticed is that whenever a male contestant sings well, all the judges run on stage, scream "once more" and start dancing, but no such hype is made for any of the girls. I don't think I can recall one such incident when the judges have been that open and happy with the performance of a girl.

Maybe this is a reason as to why all the female contestants fade out towards the end of the contest. But I find that some performances of Mauli, Sumedha and (esp) Poonam are far superior to some of the performances by the guys. Not to disregard their talent, of course! 😊

Divya ji, if the mentors start running on the satge after each girl's performance, there will be so many petitions that you cannot count😃

Petitions for what, appreciating somebody's performance? If this is the case then co-ed competitions should not exist. It defeats the purpose of equality. (inner-feminist comes out) 😊

Don't know about defeating the purpose of equality, but can only say that It is a cultural thing...
