| Zeenews Bureau Mumbai, Oct 09: Music icon Himesh Reshammiya is in the news again but this time for all the wrong reasons. The artiste has come under the scrutiny of the Income Tax department for allegedly paying less Service Tax. According to sources, Reshammiya paid Rs 5 crore to the Service Tax Department. However, officials feel that the tax paid is not in proportion with the artiste's income. In order, to verify the total tax due by Reshammiya, the Income Tax sleuths are conducting an intensive survey of his residence as a part of their verification process. One of the major reasons that may have caught the attention of the I-T department may have been the recent success of his flick 'Aap Ka Saroor'. |
