for some one who came so late while mostly everyone except for stray floaters had 'adopted' their own favourites, i think he's done remarkably well if just the week before he was no.1 in international and overall voting. so i would be a little skeptical in writing him off so soon... 😊

he already had more knowledge in music then anyone in the beginning, he was the best...

he was already on SRGMP before, and won

he was known only by bengalis cos of bangla srgmp. west bengal is just 1 state of India and India has 28 states and some 7-8 UTs so you can figure out how many ppl knew him in India alone, forget the rest of the world. as a north Indian, do i know the winner of bangla or marathi or kannada srgmp? no. do i know the winner of gujarati srgmp? no way.. hell i don't even know if there is a gujarati srgmp in the first place!

sorry i don't get what you mean by 'he already had more knowledge in music that anyone in the beginning'? from what i know amanat, raja, poonam and possibly others are musically trained too, not just aneek. and from what i've read it seems amanat is the one with the highest level of classical training. besides, if he has knowledge of music from before, so what? isn't it a good thing? are you actually holding it against him? 😕😕😕

so then, by your own logic, what will you say to amanat ali? and to mohd. vakil and parthiv gohil and dr. neha rajpal?? cos they all definitely have more knowledge of music than aneek.. 😛
