What was the SRGMP team thinking?

This post is simply contains my thoughts as I watched today's episode. There was much in this episode to mock, to praise, to question, to shock, and so on.
Do share your views after finishing reading. I apologize if the post turns out too long. There's just soo much to say. 😃

So here goes nothing ...

Hats off to the SRGMP creative head that decided to make today's episode 2 hours and 40 minutes long with Himesh Reshammiya and Mika present. That's a great TRP raiser. 😉

I do believe Himesh broke his own record today by using the word "genuine" far more times than ever before. The ironic part of Himesh saying "genuine" is that every time he says it, it usually means that he's about to state a huge lie, so by adding "genuine" behind it, he feels he can cover it up. 😛

Ismail Darbar is releasing an album? I think I heard enough of him in his attempt to sing Lift Karade, don't think I can bear anymore. Unless of course some of Amanat's talent rubbed off on him, then I might reconsider it. Also it was very interesting to see ID attempt to dance on stage today. 😆

Aftab Shivdasani and Dino Morea were the two most bored people in the first half of the episode. They looked like the director had dragged them to the sets and forced them to listen to the songs and try to smile. I doubt they even knew where they were. A big thanks to Raja for waking them up with his performance.

Neha Dhupia was attempting to smile and enjoy the performances but by the second half of the show she was a dull doll. Didn't think she knew what was going on.

Why is it that some of the better known celebrities from the movie weren't present in the "Big 22" but the lesser known were. Why weren't Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Shabana Azmi, etc present? 😕 I mean a lot of the so called "22 celebrities" were people I'd never seen or heard of ...

Why does the SRGMP team think we want to see girls belly dancing and low profiled actors dancing on stage?

I'm wondering when Aditya announced that they had X amount of actors, X amount of singers, X amount of music directors present, did he count Mika as a singer? 🤢

The fact that Sanjay Gupta left HR out of the music release was, to say the least, hilarious. 😉

Who designs the clothes for the participants? Aditya and Aneek's blazers were a big fashion NO-NO today. I mean, are you kidding me? And why in the world was Amanat wearing purple? 😕

And finally, why the heck did Mika start singing Amanat's song in his horrendous voice? Do people like to make idiots out of themselves? 😡

Some questions to consider ...

1. What were the girls in the back continuously giggling about?
2. What was Manoj Bajpai chewing so wildly?
3. WHY did HR have to start the whole Dia drama again?
4. What were Neha Dhupia and Dino Morea whispering in each other's ears?
5. Why is that everytime the camera would come on of the twenty-two, they would quickly start smiling and clapping their hands?
6. Why did Manoj and Rohit Roy look like they were the only two who knew what was going on?
7. Who was sitting on VS's right that they kept turning to talk to?
8. Why was Amanat's last performance so brilliant? 😳
9. Is HR a statistical calculator? He always seems to know everyone's success rates. 😆
10. Why does this show have to end? 😳

Okay a few more points (only a few, promise 😳)

Raja's performances were enjoyable today. The song choices were commendable, and he did them justice. I won't say anything on the technical aspect, but they were very entertaining.

Aneek's Yaar Mangiyasi was exceptional. I felt that he could've done better in Zindagi me Koi Aaye na Rabba. Or maybe its the fact that I think this songs suits a female voice better. And the Dia drama was unbearable. And did anyone else notice that he was having breathing problems while singing? Its usually not the case, but you could hear him breathing hard while performing today.

Amanat ... Amanat ... Amanat. Amanat's first two performances were very good. But the last one was out of the world. I mean, for the first time today, I feel as though I can use the word flawless without any hesitation. His performance touched my heart, and was, for lack of a better word, mindblowing.

Most Memorable Scene (besides Amanat's Tujhse Naraz Nahi, of course)
Vishal-Shekhar's tapori dance. Especially when Shekhar attempted to pop his collar. 😉

Okay, that's it for now. Feel free to add/comment/disagree/vent, etc. 😃

You're truly from H-town. So am I. So I see where you're coming from. 😉
I couldn't have gotten better answers for my questions. 😆
Especially the following:

4. What were Neha Dhupia and Dino Morea whispering in each other's ears? 'For a 10 minute movie appearance, we have to put up w/ 3 hours of HR. Life sux!'

😆 im laughing alrite, i totally agree wid ur comments & questions...(laughs)...how on earth ever u hv the same thoughts as me dear? as srgmp comes to an end, i hope in the next challenge, hr is NOT selected - mayb not only him BUT all of them weren't good mentors, Bappi was biased, he pref Mauli over the BarbieDoll(Sumedha)-who honestly performed a 100x better...VS are amteurs, they cld hv done better...seeing that harpreet & junaid were both GOOD singers, compared 2 mauli & mussarat...HR besides being calculative, his voice was NOT @ all bearable, leave-out the MENTOR-attempts, Aneek is a much better singer than his guruji...ID, apart frm critisizing Amanat on the day he needed most votes frm audiences, rmb when he pleaded wid ID to attend the Finale 2 support him, ID looked hesitant, c'mon a guru needs to be wid his student during his final day @ attempt...overall i wasn't pleased wid the choice of mentors, but Aditya Narayan - the fresh face has definitely defeated Sonu Nigam & Shaan...i wld miss this show as i hv never missed a single telecast...
