What's up with this extremely liberal marking on C2007? Amanat's rendition of 'Pyaar Hua Iqraar' was far from perfect. It had so many technical flaws. He simplified the 'maaloom nahi hain kahaan hain manzil' too much. The 'maaloom' in the original has got a murki which he was avoiding. Also, he stumbled when he started off. He sang the 'kahaan manzil' completely wrong. It was a performance that would have got no more than an 8 in C2005. I don't mean to single out this performance. All throughout C2007, 10s have been awarded for less than perfect performances. The judges themselves point out flaws and then go ahead and award 10 points anyway.

What gives. I wish the judges go back to stricter judging (too late for this season) where participants are penalized for their mistakes and don't have it so easy.

My mom also noticed the "maloom" bit Ashish ji...

I liked Amanat's performance, atleast Vishal said it wasn't his best. But yes, for a long time, Ismail and Himesh give 10s all the time, just bindaas... 😕 and now it's happening more often? When they should be more strict..
