Complete Written Update - 21st Sept 2007

Hi Friends

Today is friday and hold on for another elimination.. With just top 5 now, every elimination is going to be tough scene to watch for... So, lets begin the update for today: 😊

Group Performance:

Aneek is with a guitar singing chaand mera dil.. He is sitting on a chair.. The stage has blue lights.. Amanat sings "Jaane wafa".. Raja sings "tum kyaa jaano mohobbat kya hain".. All the other contestants are standing at the back and dancing.. Poonam and Sumedha sing mil gaya humko saathi mil gaya.. All the contestants sing together the same song..

Aditya greets everyone.. Recap of last week's episode is shown.. In the order - Raja, Aneek, Sumedha, Amanat, and Poonam..

This time 53,76,138 votes..

This time the finals is between 3 challengers..

Globe of fortune is rotated and Raja is the top challenger..

Raja - I am feeling very happy and dont know how to thank the audience..
Vishal - Your graph is always been such that its up and down.. You just concentrate on singing..
Himesh - Genuinely, audience wasnts to make you no.1.. You have to work hard and that promise you have made Mussarat also..

Today Raja will sing the song choice of Big FM listeners.. Big FM RJ, Archana comes on stage to announce the song.. She says, Aditya is looking stunning and congratulates Raja.. She asks, you are always Raja, when will you become Jogi? and announces he will sing Ramta Jogi from Taal.. MD - AR Rehman and singers - Sukhwinder and Alka Yagnik..

Raja performs..

Vishal - You have sung so well.. He gives standing ovation.. Shekhar is missing and Vishal says Shekhar is unwell and so he is not there on the set.. But says, he should have been present here, as he would have enjoyed your performance.. You have now become like our friend..
ID - Same Raja is back.. For past so many weeks you were not doing well, but you are back..
Himesh - Mindblowing, Superb, Extraordinary.. For the past few weeks I have been asking you to improve and you have done a great job...
Bappida - I always like your voice and thats why made you to sing in such a big picture..

Globe of fortune is rotated and Aneek is number 2 this week..

Aneek sings Mere umar ke nau janwaano from film Karz.. MD - Lakshmikanth Pyarelal.. Singer - Kishore..

Himesh - Aditya says, Karz is going to be remade and Himesh is the hero and MD of the film.. He asks about this to Himesh and he says - Lot of responsibility is on my shoulder.. I have to satisfy the expectation.. This is a big challenge.. Im going to loose 7-8 KGs and the process of become more handsome is going on.. 😉 There is going to be 5 more films made for Himesh and about which we all will come to know soon.. About Aneek's performance he says If Kishoreda tonal quality is not there in someone, then its impossible to sing his songs.. This song is not for Aneek.. But he did well..
Bappida - You sang well.. Bappi Lahiri and Kishore Kumar have always gone together.. You did justice..
Vishal - Today it was not that good but if someone is asked to wear this clothes and asks me to sing, it will be impossible.. You did a good job..
ID - Every contestant will keep one note lower to the original singer, but you kept one note higher, you are a great singer..

Universal music and Zee TV has released an album named Manzil in which the top 10 challengers have sung.. A small promo of it is shown.. The album is rleased on stage..

Bappida - Oustanding.. Congratulations to all of you and I want all singers to floursih
Vishal - I am feeling very happy
Himesh - This is all because of the audience.. The hero will be zero without the audience.. So, thank you audience..
ID - This is not the manzil.. You have long way to go..

Himesh - Fantastic, Mindblowing, Superb.. Poonam and Sumedha sing well.. Aneek maybe thinking I will be out because of such good performances.. But you dont think like that.. You definitely did not sing better than Amanat and Raja also proved himself today.. But there is one more performance of yours tomorrow.. So, dont worry and concentrate on that.. Will I be there and will you be there in the show depends upon you.. See, the audience have started voting now for you.. Just say - "Mere pyaar ki kasam vote kijiye".. Aneek says the same..

Vishal - 100% you sang well.. I got goosing bumps.. Bappida - Amanat Ali, classical singer has sung it very well.. Vishal - This is not your style, but still you sang very well..

ID - Keep singing like this and get everyone's blessings.. I am happy you are in my gharana..

Sumedha and Poonam are in bottom 2..

Sumedha sings Piya tu ab tu aaja.. raja gives the male voice..
Poonam sings Kahiin aag lage lag jaaye from taal..

ID - You have kept the perfect name - "pocket size power house".. Aditya has also sung this song.. ID asks Aditya to sing.. Vishal to requests him to sing.. Aditya sings those lines which he sang in the song.. ID asks him to sing in his child voice.. He sings and ID says - you will become 10 crore hero..

ID - you should be thankful to public and dont think you are not number 1.. For Poonam I would like to say - Today is the first time she has come in danger zone.. You are the true winner.. Dont cry if you loose.. Khushi Khushi vidaa hona zaroori ahin..

Bappida - Your voice has a karishma.. Settle down in Bombay, you have brihgt future.. I told that if you win or loose, I will do a free fshow for Chattisgargh.
Vishal - It feels difficult to see someone to leave from here.. You both have done it well.. Take Care and God Bless for who ever leaves and the other concentrate as we want to see you in top 1..
Himesh - Sumedha has a contemprory voice..

Globe of fortune is rotated and Poonam is safe..

So, Sumedha is eliminated!!!

Sumedha - I thought I will not cry, but she breaks down.. Bappida goes on stage..
Bappida - I cannot say anything for public voting.. Even I want to see who makes to top.. My blessings are always with you.. you will become a top singer..

Sumedha's Father - I am thankful to Bappida and Zee TV for giving such a big platform.. But its SMS because of which she is eliminated Chattisgargh is small place and Zee TV comes in very few places.. Thats why she is eliminated.. But happy, she has come upto this stage..

Vishal - Just now I talked to Shekhar and he was also feeling very sad.. Asks Sumedha If you can, can you record a song for us next week?

She breaks down totally then continues - I will miss ths stage, contestants, and Aditya.. Thus, the show ends and Sumedha gets eliminated..
