India Forum = Caste System..sad post - Page 2

i, myself, do agree with the original poster to an extent.

i don't think that the moderators "favor" a certain group of people or anything of that matter, but i do think that many topics here tend to get closed for practically no reason (or for such stupid reasons). at times, i think the moderators are too uptight.

ummmmm correction, this is not any one person's house....this is public domain....the moderators are elected, they are appointed.....People in india who have hateful speeches aren't "dealth with" like you said....they are simply ignored, so why not let the public make that decision? if someone doesn't like a post, just ignore it....why must they be censored? Obey rules??? the last i checked india forum consisted of people not sheep.....people question things, sheep just follow....it's obvious which category you fall in to .....

Mermaid Q_T.....I don't think that any one person owns India Forum, so ummm no I don't have to follow your advice of if I don't like it don't come to it......It's more like if I don't like it, I have to try to change it.....

In a free society you can't shut people up just because you don't like what they are saying....If you don't like something that someone says, you have no right to shut him up, your only right is to ignore it and move on....Not everyone thinks the same thoughts my friend, you don't have the right to censor anyone, just like someone else doesn't have a right to censor you.....Once again this is not someone's house, this is public forum, it's for all people not a select few

Mods are not dictators who go on a closing topics spree. And STOP comparing this forum to the caste system. It's not at all like that. I too was once a newbie and I for one never felt like I was a "shudra". I think you are going overboard with this remark. If one opens a post with derogatory remarks or insulting topics, that post is immediately closed. When we close topics, we give reasons as to why we did it.

I fail to understand why such topics are created and such members are born every season ..

I don't think either this section or IF in general creates any such difference between different groups of members .. Because I was once a newbie too and never experienced such a thing ..

Needless to say thi but I think Mods of this section do a FAB job ... 👏
