some observationss based on singing

If you listen to the songs only , and look at the contestants from vocal prowess and ability to emote ,

1.Sumedhas voice is good even on audio only , her sur control is okay but her ability to emote is excellent .I havent heard her sing any tragic songs yet so I cannot comment , but she has done justice to all her songs, sometimes better than the original

2.Poonam sings well, but has trouble in emoting naughty/love songs. she can sing tragic songs fairly well .her vocal command is excellent

3.Amanat's voice suits slow forlorn, semiclassical songs . His sur control is impeccable and his ability to emote tragedy is great . In fast numbers, he sang with sur , but he just didnt leave the impact as well as he did in slow numbers.

4.Raja is very good in KK/sukhwinder genre but out of his comfort zone, he has some major issues with voice modulation ,I think recently he has some strain on his voice ?? flu?/stress . .I like his voice quality which in unique

5.Aneek is an all rounder. he doesnot have any problems in slow/fast/sad or happy songs and he can emote very well. he can probably win the competition with his versatility .

The only thing i see is that he doesnot have a voice that would stand out and be different. such as Raja has a good high note voice, amanat for ghazals . We have quite a few artists already established in similiar voice. (sonu/shan/udit/etc)

So the moral of your post is that Aneek is the best. You can just say that without all this buildup.

In this era, I really dont see the need to be an allrounder, Jack of all and master of none. It is ok to be best in your genre and still do well. So I disagree with your post and I feel Amanat is the one deserving to win this competition followed by POOnam.

Actually I am great fan of amanat .
I think teh 2 people who wiill be in finals are going to be Amanat and Aneek .i just think that Amanats strength is in
the slow soulful songs
Poonam is fabulous, but in last 2 episode she hasnot been at her best and neither is raja

What posts? I believe people on this forums are all singing veterans/experts......it is always easy to sit on the other side of the fence and pass judgements....

DUM HAI TO KHUDH SAREGAMAPA KE STAGE PE JAO NA....PHIR DEKHNA KAISE PHAAT KE HAATH ME AATA HAI...SAAB BOLTI NIKAAL JAYEGA....

When will we Indians stop blabbering....leave this kids alone yaar...they are enjoying...so are viewers...sit back tight and enjoy...........
