He is a Pakistani, who lives in Dubai, most Pakistani people either speak Punjabi or Sindhi, so whats so wrong about it. If he is a gay, why should he pretend he has got the "girl".

He is one sensible guy who refuses to condone all the junk on the show and forget about everything he is a genuinely good singer.

Amanat is from Pakistan. He won the SRGMP Dubai contest and therefore was given entry into C2007 as the winner from Dubai!! Therefore he was initially called "Dubai ke Mahabali". He asked that they stop saying that because he is NOT from Dubai, he lives in Pakistan.

😆 What does this have to do with Amanat's singing?

People can attack his heritage and spread rumors about his personal life all they want, but Amanat has won the love and support of many Indian music fans because of his soul-stirring voice, his versatility, and his consistency as a live performer. If he had become overconfident, his singing would have gone way down by now, but instead he really seems to be coming into his own, singing well and giving lively performances.

I agree.Most people think Pakistanis only speak Urdu.Alot of the population is Punjabi! I am too.Hez from Faisalabad so i can infer hez most likely to be Punjabi.

And calling someone gay is totally rude and offensive.Its not even true.

Also it was not him who changed that he is from Pakistan.Ismailji said to change it.

ID mentioned that lots of people from Pakistan were calling and reminding that Amanat is actually from Pakistan . It is only keeping in view their request that he has been called "Pakistan ka mahabali".

He is a Punjabi , why doubt that ? Even Mussarat was a punjabi.

He did not say he is a Punjabi just to get votes, he has already topped without having people know that he is a punjabi. He mentioned "Ek baat kahu, main bhi ek Punjabi hi hoom" only when Adi said that he sounded perfect Punjabi in the song "Ek Punjaban Kdi Panjaban".

Amanat certainly is confident of doing well & going far on this show.. That is certainly required for all participants. I think he has been humble & stayed away from drama & has been improving tremendously on performance.. We know he is top notch when it comes to singing for a long time now!

And for any one who knows a bit of the state mix in pak shd have gathered well before he mentioned that he is a punjabi!
