Over a period of time we all have said part of all of the show is scripted, so we cant tell what is scripted here and what is not

Morever Sumedha is of a legal age to complain if she is facing sexual harrasment, and if she is not able to, her parents are on-hand(as was visible in this episode)

If she has no problem why are "others" screaming sexual harassment, let the girl decide what is sexual harassment.

Now this is a free world and internet allows all of us to make any kind of allegations,

but Sexual harassment is a serious charge Wouldnt it be prudent to apply this charge a bit judiciously?

I see Indians apply this charge rather randomly and show no concern that this might become a real case of Child and Wolf story


FYI, I too hate the antics of Mr Reshmaiyya and have endured it for a much longer period than the new bandwagon bashers, so spare me the Reshmaiyya supporter BS 😉

Sumedha is at the mercy of the mentors and the network. If she files a complaint, they could make her singing career very hard. In United States or maybe Europe, she could sue, but not in a society like India.

Sareg, in most cases of sexual harassment, the victim is someone who is afraid of losing something by complaining. She is afraid of either losing her job or promotion or her degree (if this happens in an educational institute).

It's easy to say that Sumedha is of legal age to complain so why is she not doing it. Can you imagine the repercussions if she antagonises the great Himesh Reshamiyya? Only someone of the stature of Asha Bhonsle could put HR in his place.

Let the producers tell us that this is all scripted, until then we will take it as a reality show and react to what we see.

And yes - this can definitely be termed as sexual harrassment in its broader term... And I think, many corporate orgs in India are also taking a note of it these days... I can say that its a part of CoC at my workplace!

We really do not know what papers the participants had to sign to become part of the show. I am sure there might be some clause which says that " I understand that this is an entertainment reality show and during the course of my participation i might be involved in fictitious stories as deemed by the channel to enhance the viewership of the show and i agree to abide by this."

It's only recently that I am witnessing the disgusting behaviour of Himesh towards a specific female contestant. I can't even call it an isolated case because this is happening week after week and it's getting worse. So you could say that I felt I could take no more of this.

Let's not confuse issues now. What's shown in movies is a different subject and we could debate endlessly about how movies should be made, how women should be depicted in movies etc.

We are talking about this particular reality show. Whether you consider Sumedha beautiful or not is a different issue, let me remind you that she always gets compliments from mentors, judges and others for her looks all the time. The camera dwells on her lovingly. This is exactly why she is being targetted for harassment.

Yes, but I am sure no one would have signed anything like "I will tolerate harassment and badgering by mentors if it is deemed as entertaining by the producers".

I agree with u. it is sexual haraassement. even it is mild as compared to others we see or hear. but still it is.

Sumedha is an adult, and if u see, her parents cant also force her to marry. then who is HR to sit and fix an affair with her, with not one but two contestants.

one thing I wanted to clear. at the end of 15th sept' episode. ISmail Darbar didnt took SUmedha to Amanat, but made her stand away from aneek. aur udhar Raja was standing. Amanat was atleast two ppl away from Raja.

but yes HR is and Bappi Lahiri are crossing all limits and it should be stopped. Amanat has tried to clear things so many times but he is rudely told not to LIE!!

larki ki self respect is everything, and here HR hits on it several times in each episode.
