Thanks everyone for your responses. SRGMP isn't the same for me either... without Harpreet and Junaid. I know everyone has to go out eventually, only one person will win... but Harpreet went out when he was on a roll !!! He had the best performance the previous day... wada raha sanam... and I remember the two people that Akshay Kumar really praised from his heart was Harpreet and Poonam. To the others, he just gave some kind of smart responses that the mentors wanted to hear. But he said that he was really touched by Harpreet's singing. Harpreet's elimination sure was a hard pill to swallow !!!

I hope he singing in Hindi films and releases some Punjabi albums as well. He's very versatile... because he can sing Sukwinder style songs very authentically... but he can sing mainstream romantic songs equally well... and most niche singers cannot do that. I'll never understand why the mentors didn't promote him more. But I do remember that Asha Bhonsle supported him.
